3. Instrument Installation

3.1 MBH (Multi Beam Hardening) Filter

Make sure that the MBH filter is installed on the X-ray tube cone (lead). The MBH filter is a
metal foil sheet sandwiched between two aluminum filters (structure comprising a 10 µm gold
filter sandwiched between two 0.3 mm aluminum sheets). This system uses only one this
MBH filter, and doesn’t use aluminum filter.

The MBH filter need not be installed when the X-ray high-voltage generator is the
ZUD-P40. The MBH filter comprises three 0.3 mm aluminum filters provided with the X-ray
tube unit as standard.

3.2.2 Optical Axis Adjustment Mechanism
The following describes the optical axis adjustment mechanism. Perform actual adjustment
according to the description in 5.1.
(1) Slightly loosen the three fixing screws ((5) in the figure).
(2) Adjust the view angle, and firmly tighten the loosened screws ((5) in the figure).

3.2.3 How to Adjust the Focus

The following describes the focus adjustment mechanism for the TV lens. Perform actual
adjustment according to the description in 5.2.

(1) Remove the two side panel window covers ((8) in the figure) on the optical system body,
and slightly loosen the two screws ((11) in the figure).
(2) Turn the focus adjustment ring ((10) in the figure), and tighten screw (11) in the figure at
the position where the lens is adjusted to the optimum focus. Attach the two side panel
window covers ((8) in the figure).

Tighten the two screws ((11) in the figure) alternately a little at a time. Take care not to
tighten them too hard. Doing so might cause the optical axis to skew or prevent the focus
ring from turning smoothly. So, tighten them until you feel resistance when you try to turn
them more.

M517-E461 3-4
3.2.4 How to Adjust Photo-Sensitivity
The photo-sensitivity of the optical system does not need to be adjusted at installation. The
following describes how to perform adjustments on the photo-sensor for reference only.

(1) Check pin

Faced from the left, the check pin ((12) in the figure) comprises three pins, Tp1, E
(Earth) and Tp2.

Tp1 (photo-sensor primary voltage) differs according to the brightness of the I.I. The
standard setting is within the range 0.1 V to 0.3 V. When Tp1 drops below 0.1 V due,
for example, to a drop in brightness of I.I. over time, remove the Neutral Density filter
((16) in the figure).

(3) Sensitivity adjustment

Tp2 (photo-sensor output voltage) is adjusted to become about 1.2 V at standard
exposure conditions.
Make the following adjustment when the Neutral Density filter has been removed or
Tp2 has drifted away from 1.2 V.

Make an X-ray exposure, observe the voltage waveform across Tp2 and E on an
oscilloscope, and adjust the sensitivity using control (13) in the figure. (See the
circuit in Figure 3-4.)

4. Pre-adjustment Preparations

4.1 Connecting the X-ray High-Voltage Generator and the Adjustment PC

In adjustments from here on, the X-ray high-voltage generator adjustment software must be
started up. For details on how to connect to the adjustment PC, refer to the Installation
Manual for the X-ray high-voltage generator.

4.2 X-ray Tube Focus Sizes and Maximum Anode Heat Capacities

Application of the small and large focuses differs according to the X-ray tube in use.

4.3 How to Operate the Iris

In the following section, the iris must be fully opened before the focus is adjusted. (If the iris is
closed down, the focus cannot be adjusted accurately as the depth-of-field of the lens
deepens.) The following describes how to adjust the iris when the focus is checked under
fluoroscopy.

(1) Starting up the adjustment software

In the [Adjustments/Settings]-[Iris] window of the adjustment software, the iris value
during fluoroscopy and DR imaging can be adjusted.

(2) Adjusting the iris

The iris value can be changed by moving the slider bar. The larger the iris value, the
more the iris opens.
Also, each of the states (IBS ON/OFF, fluoroscopy mode (pulse or continuous), and I.I.
field-of-view size) are indicated by their checkboxes. To change the states of these
settings, switch the fluoroscopy mode using the buttons on the remote console. Likewise,
the radiography iris can be set on the [DR/Serial] panel on the above window.
When adjusting the iris, please disable the use of “Iris Switchover by Fluo kV”.

M517-E461 4-2
4.4 Checking Fluoroscopy

Place an acrylic phantom of several cm and perform fluoroscopy so that the screen is not
saturated at 50 kV, and make sure that I.I. output light is visible on the monitor. If the monitor
is too dark, preventing the I.I. output light from being visible, a probable cause is that the iris is
not fully open. So, check again to see if the iris is fully open.

M517-E461 4-3
4.5 Removing Dirt from the Optical Path

After adjustment of image quality on the TV system, dirt on the optical path may cause
problems. If this happens, the camera head must be removed, the optical path must be
cleaned, and the camera head axis must be adjusted and image quality must be checked
again. To prevent unnecessary work, check for dirt when the camera head is installed.
Removing dirt beforehand at this stage will prevent unnecessary work later on. Be sure to
clean the optical path as carefully as possible.

• After installing the camera head, rough-adjust the lens focus using a Penetra-chart, etc. in
the fluoroscopy mode. (Rough-adjustment is sufficient at this stage as fine-adjustment will
be required later.)
After adjustment, remove the Penetra-chart, perform DR imaging on a flat subject (e.g.
10-cm acrylic phantom), and observe the image on the monitor for dirt. During this
observation, setting a deeper depth-of-field on the lens enables dirt to be checked more
easily.
• Close down the radiography iris slightly, and perform spot exposure with the X-ray
exposure conditions set to manual (photo-timer OFF) and brightness on the monitor set to
about 1500 to 2000 as digital values.

When dirt (black spots) are displayed on the image, the CCD imaging plane and optical
system lens must be cleaned. The following table summarizes the types of dirt and locations
where dirt might exist.

Blow off dirt on the CCD element, lens or I.I. output surface with a blower brush, for example.
The size of one pixel on the CCD element is 10 µm or less. Even though dirt can be visually
checked on the monitor, dirt on the CCD sometimes cannot be found by just visually checking
the surface of the CCD. Look for fine dirt such as this using a magnifying glass or similar
utensil.

M517-E461 4-4
• Static electricity might damage the ICs. Do not handle the CCD elements, CCD imaging
plane and IC pins with your bare hands. If the CCD elements must be touched, for
example, when removing dirt from the optical path, correctly attach the static discharge
wristbands beforehand to neutralize the electric charge on your hands to ground level.

• When wiping the CCD elements to remove dirt, use the cloth for wiping the lens
moistened with isopropyl alcohol or commercially available lens cleaner. Before wiping
the CCD elements, be sure to remove as much dust or dirt as possible using the blower
brush, etc. Also, wiping the CCD elements with a dirty cloth will scratch or dirty the CCD
imaging plane. When wiping the CCD elements, do not wipe backwards and forwards
with the cloth. Wipe in one direction only, and replace the cloth each time that you wipe
the elements.

• If dirt is suspected as being present inside the I.I. tube, perform fluoroscopy on solder
wire of known gauge, measure the size of the dirt, and compare this with the dirt (SPOT)
shipping standard indicated in the I.I. instruction manual to judge whether or not its
presence is acceptable.

4.6 Checking the I.I. Field-of-View Settings

Photo-voltage values for each I.I. field-of-view can be set and stored to memory on the X-ray
high-voltage generator. Note, however, that the currently selected field-of-view size is not
displayed on the operation panel of the X-ray high-voltage generator. Before starting
adjustments, make sure that the I.I. type (number of fields-of-view and field-of-view sizes) and
R/F table settings are matching.

5. Adjusting the Optical Axis and Focus of the Imaging chain

5.1 Adjusting the Optical Axis of the Imaging Chain (See 3.2.2.)

Adjust the optical axis of the imaging chain by the following procedure.

(1) Remove the collimator, and install the X-ray tube axis adjustment jig.

To clarify the axial center of the imaging chain, perform steps (2) or (3) below.

(2) Install the four spacers for the fluoroscopic table on the cross-hair chart plate provided
with the optical axis adjustment jig. Insert the cross-hair chart plate into the cassette slot,
and fit the chart plate into the I.I. incidence hole aligned with the above spacers. At this
time, place the cross-hair chart plate so that it is accurately at right angles to the tabletop.
It is more convenient to align the chart plate with the markings on the fluoroscopic table.

(3) Remove the cover from the SDR-100 digital I/F box, and connect the box to the SDR-100
PC with the RS-232C cable. Start up the TH8740 camera adjustment software, and
remove the circular blanking. For details, see section 12 "Procedure for Switching
Circular Blanking ON/OFF" in this manual.

(4) Lift up the tabletop up to the 45 degree position.

(5) Perform fluoroscopy at the maximum I.I. field-of-view, and align the optical axis of the I.I.
and the camera by the procedure in 3.2.2.

(6) Loosen the X-ray tube fixing screws. Adjust the axis of the X-ray tube so that the + and •
of the X-ray tube axis adjustment jig are overlapping each other at the center of the
fluoroscopic image, and fasten the X-ray tube after adjustment.

M517-E461 5-1
5.2 Adjusting the Focus (See 3.2.3)

Adjust the lens focus by the following procedure.

(1) Fasten the Penetra-chart on the tabletop of the R/F table inclined at an angle of 45
degrees.
(2) Set the fluoroscopy iris to fully open by the procedure in section 4.3. At this time, the light
intensity sometimes becomes excessive. If this happens, add a suitable absorbing body
(reference: 2-cm acrylic phantom, 0.5 mm copper plate, 5 mm aluminum plate).
(3) Perform fluoroscopy with the field-of-view at 9 inches, set the X-ray conditions at which
the chart is most visible, and adjust the lens focus by the procedure in 3.2.3. The
following table summarizes the reference resolutions for each I.I.

I.I. Resolution (reference)

IA-12LD13 0.26 mm to 0.30 mm
IA-12LD/HS13 0.26 mm
IA-12LT/HS13 0.26 mm
IA-9SZ13 0.30 mm

If the lens focus is adjusted with the lens or CCD elements tilted at an angle, the lens
focus position will move horizontally or vertically. Tilting of the lens or CCD elements is
checked before shipment from the factory. If these components are tilting, the camera
must be replaced.

5.3 Adjusting the Collimator

Adjust the collimator according to the Installation Manuals for the R/F table and collimator.
(1) Install the collimator. Restore the circular blanking if it has been removed.
(2) Align the position of the collimator so that the error in the positional relationship between
the circle blanking and 4-division mask (for DR and spot filming) is as little as possible.
Also, check the positional relationship with the collimator and the iris closed down status
for each of the fields-of-view.
(3) Move the table to the horizontal position from the vertical position, and check that the
collimator is not protruding outside of the field-of-view or the field-of-view is obscured.
Also fine-adjust the open/close amount of the collimator so that it circumscribes the circle
blanking as close as possible when the collimator is at its maximum open position.

The image quality of the SDR-100 is greatly affected by scattered X-rays. During
adjustments, pay attention to the above points to minimize scattered rays.

M517-E461 5-2
6. Adjusting the Fluoroscopy Mode

6.1 DC Fluoroscopy Adjustments

The auto-exposure mechanism for DC fluoroscopy uses the IBS signal from the camera. For
details on adjustment of the IBS, see Chapter 8.

6.1.1 Checking the DC Fluoroscopy Tube Current

Use the X-ray high-voltage generator adjustment software. Enter the FVF adjustment window,
and check the DC fluoroscopy tube current (FkV-FmA) settings. Also, adjust the FVF values.
(See "4.9.2 Adjusting the Continuous Fluoroscopy Tube Current" of the M501-2056 X-ray
High-Voltage Generator Installation Manual.) The current characteristics differ according to
the maximum anode heat capacity of the X-ray tube unit. For details on the maximum anode
heat capacity, see "4.2 X-ray Tube Focus Sizes and Maximum Anode Heat Capacities."

kV point to adjust the dose. After adjustment, be sure to finally check that the dose
does not exceed the specified dose at all fluoroscopic tube voltages.

M517-E461 6-1
6.2 Pulse Fluoroscopy Adjustments

The auto-exposure mechanism for pulse fluoroscopy uses the IBS signal from the camera. So,
with pulse fluoroscopy adjustments, the fluoroscopy iris and IBS output signal must be
adjusted. For details on these adjustments, see Chapter 8.

In systems that incorporate a ZUD-P40 high-voltage generator (20 kW), adjustments are not
required since pulse fluoroscopy is not used.

The X-ray tube might be damaged if pulse fluoroscopy is started without having
performed the adjustments properly.
Perform the adjustments following the description in "Pulse Fluoroscopy Installation and
Adjustment Methods" in the Instruction Manual for the X-ray high-voltage generator.

6.2.1 Adjusting the Pulse Fluoroscopy Tube Current

Start up the X-ray high-voltage generator adjustment software, enter the FVF adjustment
window, and check and adjust the pulse fluoroscopy tube current (FkV-FmA) settings. First,
enter the average tube current value during pulse fluoroscopy at 15 fps in the table below, and
adjust the FVF value so that the pulse peak current automatically calculated by the
adjustment software is reached. (See "4.9.3 Adjusting the Pulse Fluoroscopy Tube Current" of
the M501-2056 X-ray High-Voltage Generator Installation Manual.)
The pulse conditions on Flexavision are 15 fps standard/pulse width 11 ms.
The current characteristics differ according to the maximum anode heat capacity of the X-ray
tube unit. For details on the maximum anode heat capacity, see "4.2 X-ray Tube Focus Sizes
and Maximum Anode Heat Capacities."

exceed the specified dose at all fluoroscopic tube voltages.

M517-E461 6-2
6.3 Measuring the Fluoroscopic Dose

As a requirement of the Medical Care Law, measure the skin dose during DC fluoroscopy and
pulse fluoroscopy.
The figure below shows the measurement points on a fluoroscopic system. In both cases
above, it is stipulated that measurement be performed at a dimension where the subject is
exposed at the maximum X-ray dose.

Fluoroscopic conditions: max. kV (standard 120 kV)

When the measured dose value exceeds the specified value of the each country, the
fluoroscopic tube current at the maximum kV point must be lowered to adjust the fluoroscopic
dose.

8. Adjusting the Iris

8.1 Adjusting the DC Fluoroscopy Iris

Adjust the iris for continuous fluoroscopy.

Use a 19-cm acrylic phantom as the uniform phantom. Set IBS to ON.
Adjust the iris so that the balance voltage is as follows according to the X-ray tube used, I.I.
and field-of-view size. For details on how to adjust the iris, see 4.3.

8.2 Adjusting the Pulse Fluoroscopy Iris

Adjust the iris for pulse fluoroscopy. Switch the fluoroscopy mode to "Pulse fluoroscopy 15
fps" in the APR presets on the SDR-100.
Use a 19-cm acrylic phantom as the uniform phantom. Set IBS to ON.
Adjust the iris so that the balance voltage is as follows according to the X-ray tube used, I.I.
and field-of-view size. For details on how to adjust the iris, see 4.3.

Table 8-2 Pulse Fluoroscopy Conditions during Iris Adjustment

In systems that incorporate a ZUD-P40 X-ray high-voltage generator (20 kW), adjustments
are not required since pulse fluoroscopy is not used.

By adjusting the iris for pulse fluoroscopy as described above, the pulse fluoroscopy
dose on the same subject becomes about 1/2 that of DC fluoroscopy. Increasing the
balance voltage as described above improves the graininess of the pulse fluoroscopic
image. However, the low exposure properties and coverage performance on thick
subject drop.
When increasing the balance voltage to improve graininess, we recommend limiting the
increase in balance voltage to the same extent as that for DC fluoroscopy. When the
voltages are the same, the exposure dose is at about 75% of that for DC fluoroscopy.

8.3 Adjusting the radiography Iris

Adjust the radiography Iris.

Use a 19-cm acrylic phantom as the uniform phantom.
Adjust the radiography iris for each exposure mode and field-of-view size mode.
Use the following settings as the conditions to be used when adjusting the radiography iris,
and adjust so that the Level values are as follows with photo-exposure disabled (i.e. AEC
button on the operation panel of the X-ray high-voltage generator turned OFF). Click the [Edit
Image] tab in the processing menu display area of the examination image operation panel,
and make sure that white on the monitor just about disappears when gamma is set to "G1",
edge is set to "1", window width is set to "1", and the window level is set to "2100".

Set so that white

10. How to Adjust Laser Imager Density

10.1 Adjusting the density of the Laser Imager

When adjusting (checking) the laser imager, collaborate with the service engineer of the laser
imager in use. Display the SMPTE pattern on the SDR-100, and adjust the density on the
laser imager (LI) so that the 0 to 100% density becomes linear on film.
(1) Connect the LI to the SDR-100.
(2) On the SDR-100, select patient name [TestPatterns], and display the SMPTE image.
(3) Set as follows: Display gamma: 1 (linear), Window: 4095, Level: 2048.
(4) Print the SMPTE pattern on the LI.
(5) Ask for adjustment of the film density so that each of the densities of the SMPTE pattern
becomes the values in Figure 10-1. (film base density=0.20)
(6) The allowable range of adjustment error is ±0.1 for densities between 0% to 40%, and
±0.05 for densities between 50% and 100%.
(7) After adjusting the density, measure each density. Repeat the adjustment until all
densities are within the error range.

• In principle, when performing image processing, adjust graininess first and

then perform edge enhancement last of all. In other words, adjust so that images
are reproduced to look sharp on the LI and slightly grainy on the SDR-100. However,
pay attention to how consistent images look on the film and monitor.
• The density of Fuji DRYPIX 1000/3000 film cannot be measured using a regular
densitometer since this is thermal film. Ask your Fuji representative to measure the
density using their exclusive densitometer.
• When images look significantly different on the film and monitor regardless of how
satisfactory the LI film image is, fine-adjust the monitor itself referring to "13.
Adjusting the Monitor".

10.2 Adjusting the interpolation parameters of the Laser Imager

• For interpolation of the LI, use the third-party parameters provided specifically for
Shimadzu fluoroscopy table. (Standard parameters have been previously discussed
with Fuji Film, Kodak, Minolta Konica, and AGFA representatives.)
• The film image output from the LI, that is connected digitally, looks sharper since the
image displayed on the monitor has been smoothed by the monitor tube window. As
a result of previous discussions, the smoothing mode has been applied slightly in the
Shimadzu standard settings. Determine the final settings to match the hospital's
preferences.

Because the standardizing on it becomes different setting, as follows, the interpolation mode
of each Inc. laser Imager make have do setting on the side of the Imager.

11. Image Quality Evaluation
Perform the image quality evaluations below and make a record of evaluation data.

11.1 Quality Evaluation of Fluoroscopic Images (resolution)

When evaluating the quality of fluoroscopic images, set the mode in the APR preset to the
"upper digestive tract" mode.
Set the I.I. field-of-view size to 9" (or 12"), fasten the Penetra-chart on the tabletop so that it
appears on the monitor as shown in Figure 11-1 on the left, and then perform fluoroscopy
manually. As the target resolution value, the fluoroscopic image is first observed without an
acrylic phantom placed on the R/F table system. Observed at a 9" field-of-view, the target
resolution value is depend on the R/F system. Refer to the section 5.2. (Manually set the
X-ray conditions so that the fluoroscopic image looks clearly.) Also, make sure that the
resolution is uniform at the periphery of the image.

11.2.1 Checking the Black Level

Check the black level of the image with a 19-cm acrylic phantom as the subject and the
collimator closed down so that it fits inside the circular blanking. (See Figure 11-2-1.)

Perform memory shot (select "M-SHOT1") radiography, and check that the black level at the
center section of the collimator is around 200 or less.

11.2.2 Spatial Resolution

(1) Insert a 19-cm acrylic phantom on top of the Penetra-chart on the tabletop so that the
chart is displayed on the monitor as shown in the previous item.

(2) Under the same conditions described in "8.3 Adjusting the radiography Iris", perform
manual radiography at a 9" (or 12") field-of-view.

(3) The target value is depends on the system. Refer to the section 5.2. Make sure that the
resolution is uniform all the way up to the periphery. During this evaluation, observe the
radiographic image with edge set to "1".

M517-E461 11-2
11.2.3 Contrast
(1) Place a 9BCu phantom in the center of the I.I. field-of-view, and then place 1 mm dimeter
or equivalent size aluminum pieces in each block of the phantom (in the dotted line
sections of the 9BCu phantom figure). Next, adjust the enlargement ratio (height of
phantom) so that the diameter of the center disk (a) becomes 30% or more of the
diameter of the circular blanking at a 9" field-of-view, and perform radiography at the
specified X-ray conditions (85 kV/320 mA/8 msec). Adjust the exposure time if region (a)
looks completely white or when the measurement value is 3700 or less.

(2) Note down the exposure conditions.

(3) Measure the digital brightness values at which the contours of the aluminum pieces on
each Cu block can be barely recognized. Lower the Level from 4095, and measure the
Level value at which the contours can be recognized at the minimum Window value.
(Record sheets are attached at the end of this manual.)

11.3 Creating Data Sheets

Create data sheets to investigate the operating status of the system at the installation site.
Create the following three types of data:

(1) Data sheet

(2) Film data using the laser imager
(3) Laser imager density adjustment data sheet

For (1), copy the data sheet in the Appendix, and enter all of the adjustment data in that sheet.
For (2), make film data referring to the following format.

SPOT Serial SPOT

Penetration
chart

SMPTE
pattern

9BCu phantom

Figure 11-3 Film Data

For (3), enter the density distribution of the SMPTE pattern in the data sheet following the
description in Chapter 10 "How to Adjust Laser Imager Density".

M517-E461 11-5
Precautions When Making Data Sheets

• Select a 9" field-of-view for imaging the Penetra-chart. Collect data for both instances of
with and without a phantom (standard subject, 19-cm acrylic phantom) inserted.

• Prepare data for checking the image periphery so that resolution near the range 0.26 to 0.4
mm can be confirmed.
• To prepare the data for only the phantom, insert leaves at the left/right/top/bottom of the
image so that the black level of the exposure can be confirmed. Also, imprint the data with
Window=4095, Level=2048 and Edge=0.
Send any other data, such as stomach phantom data, at the same time for reference.

When the installation and adjustments are complete and the data for (1) to (3) is prepared,
Save the data.

13. Adjusting the Monitor
If the following states occur, do not adjust the image processing parameters on the SDR-100.
Remedy these states by adjusting the monitor.
(1) The gradations of the monitor no longer match the gradations on the LI film image due
to changing the LI from its standard settings.
(2) The SDR-100 must be adjusted to give priority to images at the DICOM destination,
and, as a result, the gradations of the operation console monitor are no longer in
keeping with the hospital's preferences.
(3) The monitor is situated in a special environment (e.g. particularly light or dark room, or
specific operator's preferences), and the monitor is judged to be difficult-to-view at the
standard settings.

€ Monitor adjustments on the L568-M

Press the [M] mode button located at the front bottom of the monitor. This displays the
setup menu items on the monitor. Move to [COLOR] using the left/right/top/bottom arrow
buttons, and select [COLOR] by pressing the round button.
(1) To change the gradation: Change "Gamma".
(2) To change the tone: Change "Color Temperature".
The DICOM-BL setting is provided on this monitor. However, using this setting is not
recommended since it makes the display too dark.
The tone can also be changed by changing the RGB gain. However, this method is
not recommended as adjustment is difficult. So, first try adjusting the color
temperature parameter.

When it is adjusted at a higher value, the
image display becomes bright seemingly
but the image becomes whitish.

◎Monitor adjustments on the G11-S

Basically, it is unnecessary in the adjustment but when the screen is too light, when the
request to have said that wanted to raise the light of the coming oppositely occurs, it
adjusts in the following way. When the setting is unclear, attempt to execute the
[AUTO] button. Each setting menu is displayed on the screen when pushing the [ENTER]
button in the monitor front underside. It makes move at the arrow button at the left, right,
up or down and it decides at the [ENTER] button.

(1) To change the screen brightness to lower:

It changes into the side which lowers brightness.
(2) To change the brightness of the coming:
It changes a range into the side of the positive. But, because this is the operation
which raises an output level, the image becomes whitish if raising. Also, adjust
carefully while confirming in the SMPTE pattern of SDR-100 because it causes the
black sinking when lowering oppositely.
(3) To change the gamma:
It doesn't recommend. The Dicom standard value which is the same as Default is set
to the present situation Custom mode.

◎Monitor adjustments on the MDL1812A-2A

Basically, be unnecessary in the adjustment but when the brightness and the contrast,
the LUT(Gamma) adjustment of the screen become necessary with the use environment,
refer to the following. Incidentally, it doesn't recommend because there is to shift to the
screen position and the phase when executing the [AUTO SETUP] button.
Each setting menu is displayed on the screen when pushing push, the dial's also serving
button on the side of the lower right of the monitor side. It decides in changing and
pushing by the inside of the menu by turning a dial.

(1) The adjustment of the brightness / the contrast

Adjust according to the use status like the general monitor.
(2) To change the gamma
Choose from eight kinds of the insides according to the use status.
It changes a range into the side of the positive.
(3) To change the Black Level
It changes a range into the side of the positive. But, because this is the operation
which raises an output level, the image becomes whitish if raising. Also, adjust
carefully while confirming in the SMPTE pattern of SDR-100 because it causes the
black sinking when lowering oppositely.
(4) To change the sharpness
The bigger the value becomes, the sharper the image becomes but the dot noise
sometimes occurs in the fluoroscopy image.
When changed, pay attention to this point.
