    Description Grinding paper with plain backing.

    Material Paper coated with silicon carbide grains in resin binder.

    Properties Round sheets to be applied on Struers Wet Grinding Discs, MD-Fuga or


    Adhesive Discs on grinding/polishing discs. Rolls are used on Lunn-Major
    and Lunn-Labor.

    Application For wet plane/fine grinding of materials with hardness 30 - 800 HV with
    the exception of 30 - 400 HV for # 2000, #2400 and # 4000. Roll. Plain
    back.

    Health and Safety To the best of Struers’ knowledge, the products listed above do not contain
    any Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) according to REACH
    regulations (amended on 20th June 2016) at or above 0.1%.

    According to Article 3(3) of the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, this


    product is considered an article and is defined as “an object which during
    production is given a special shape, surface or design which determines its
    function to a greater degree than its chemical composition”.

    Therefore this product is exempted from CLP obligations and is outside the
    scope of the UN Globally Harmonized System of Classification and
    Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).

    Skin protection Wear protective gloves during prolonged grinding.

    Respiratory Protection It is recommended that the grinding machine is adequately ventilated during
    use of SiC Grinding Paper. No personal respiratory protective equipment
    normally required.

    Environmental Depending on type of material being ground, dispose of waste and
    precautions residues in accordance with local regulations.

    Grit/Grain size comparison*- Struers grinding papers are classified according to FEPA Standards (Federation of the European
    Producers of Abrasives). US Grit Numbers and those specified by FEPA and corresponding average grain diameter in microns are
    shown.
