system. As ( 1st stage vs. 2nd stage Reverse Osmosis system, Array , RO system
with a concentrate recycle , Single Pass vs. Double Pass RO systems.)
 Understanding the Pre-treatment for RO as (Fouling, Scaling, Chemical attack and
Mechanical damage. )
 Knowledge about SDI (Silt Density Index) test procedure.
 Understanding the Pre-treatment solution for RO System as (Multi Media
filtration, Micro filtration, Antiscalant , Sodium Bisulfite (SBS) injection and
Granular Activated Carbon (GAC).
 Collection of Data as ( Feed Temperature, Feed flow ,Permeate flow, Concentrate
flow ,Feed Pressure, Concentrate Pressure, Permeate Pressure ,Feed Conductivity
and Permeate Conductivity )
 Analyze the operation Data to prepare trends for all operation parameters and
Data Normalization.
 Knowledge of chemicals dosing calculation and cross check for RO Plant.

Carbon, Dissolved Oxygen, Total Alkalinity, Total Hardness, Calcium &
Magnesium Hardness ,Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine, Oil & Grease, Total
Suspended Solid, Turbidity, Sulfide, Sulfite , Caustic Soda, Sodium
Hypochlorite, Hydrochloric Acid, Sulfuric acid and standard solutions for
Hardness test and Alkalinity test.
 Performs jar testing for Polymers and Coagulants.
 Knowledge of Chiller Water System , Cooling Water system and Boiler
cleaning Chemical procedure and Treatment Chemicals.
 Analysis of Chiller ,Cooling and Boiler Chemical and Prepare report of these.

filter, water tank, R.O. membrane and all pipelines.

 Responsible for random checking in any factory & collect the sample for chemical
& micro biological testing and reporting to Manager.
 Supervise and control of Reverse osmosis and Demineralization system and
Laboratory activities.
 Preparation of reagents and standard solutions.
 Record the test results and monitor the quality trends in the computer.
 Responsible for maintaining international standards of quality control.
