    Feeding & Offering Of Obi to Ifa

    Ifa you want to feed or offer Obi to will be placed on the ground, Obi will be readily available and you
    will also have to get a little bowl of water ready.

    You will first have to soak the Obi in the water first, after using the Obi to touch water, the Obi will be
    given to the person making offering to Ifa, the person would make prayer to the Obi and put it on the
    ifa.

    Then you being a babalawo, you would pick up the Obi from Ifa and use the Obi to touch the client
    heads before breaking the obi into his lobes, After breaking the Obi into lobes, you would spread the Obi
    on the ground very close to each other in front of Ifa. You will start by making prayer to the client in your
    know languages, after the prayers, you would recite Ijuba to pay homage to Ifa, Orisa, your godfather
    and to all babalawo.

    After the Ijuba. You would then recite Ese Ifa to be used in giving offering to Ifa, after reciting each of the
    verses, you would be sprinkling water on the spread Obi on the ground in front of IfA and you will make
    a prayer for the client as you are sprinkling water on the spread obi on the ground.Then After you say the
    last verses of the ese Ifa that you need to recite, you will make prayer and throw the Obi, then you will
    determine the result of the Obi based on the knowledge of Obi throwing and divination that you know
    and interpret the messages of the Obi to the client.

    This are some of the numerous Ese Ifa (Ifa verses) that can be used in giving Obi to Ifa:

    Giving offering is blessing medicine
