WET AREA ZONE GUIDE
When considering where in the room to place an extractor fan, you

must consider the wet areas.
Zone 1: Requires a SELV Fan or an

FAN TYPES
Location of your extraction fan will depend on the physical constraints of your room. The wet area zone guide (shown
on the previous page) will help you decide the most suitable physical installation to meet your requirements. Within the
various mounting options there are other features available, such as:
• TIMER (maintain fan operation for a set time after the room is vacated).
• PULLCORD (switch at fan, instead of wall switch control).
• AUTO-SHUTTER (electrically operated shutters inside the fan - closed when the fan is not running to stop draughts).
• PIR SENSOR (provide automatic motion-sensor control of fans).

General Information
To avoid confusion in the our range of flexible duct sizes and types, we have colour
coded labels for each size. The different colours denote the various sizes.
Labels include:
Type of duct core, insulation type, length of duct and type of sleeve (where applicable).
E.g. ‘V-Flex RO.6 6m’ = V-Flex with thermal resistance of RO.6 and is 6m long.

F7 In-Line Filter
This high quality F7 filter captures pollens, dust and allergens from the air. Over its
life the filter will, as an average, have an 80-90% arrestance on particles 0.4 microns
in size and above.
The filter cassette is held in a frame of silicon impregnated cardboard which is
fitted with two plastic neck adaptors to facilitate maintenance and replacement.
This design also permits a range of duct sizes for the same filter cassette.

SW-2T Swirl Plate only DCT2636
SW-2T series is a swirl diffuser with fixed radially arranged air control blades. This
unique type of slot provides high induction “vortex” air flow, projecting horizontally
from the face of diffuser. This swirling air flow produces a diffuser air distribution,
with no stationary air jet resulting in excellent uniformity of temperature in air
conditioned spaces.
SW-2T is suitable in area of high heat load where large quantities of cool air must
be rapidly mixed with room air; areas which require high air change in a short time.
The SW-2T series can also be use as a return and exhaust type device.
Materials
• Diffuser Face: 1.0mm thickness galvanized steel.
• Outer Frame: 1.0mm thickness galvanized steel.
Surface Finish
• White powder coated as standard. SW-2T

• Diffuser face can be opened without using any tools.
• Volume control damper is adjustable without removing ceiling panel.
• Swirl air pattern provides high induction ratio.
• High coanda effect reduces direct-throw of air on occupants.

With a 100mm diameter heat recovery outlet, this unit has low energy consumption and low noise levels.
Synergy Single Room Heat Recovery can be set to run continuously at 6l/s (for rooms up to 25m2)* or 9l/s (for rooms up to 37m2)*,
boosting up to 13l/s, recovering energy from the extracted air and returning it to the dwelling.
The unique, compact heat exchanger has a temperature efficiency up to 80%, saving energy on heating and reducing your carbon
