release information for the Q2 2018 release of SAP SuccessFactors
Employee Central. The delta content also includes an assessment that must
be passed for recertification.

What is it?
The visual experience of the "Import
Employee Data" page has been enhanced to
view the basic and compensation specific
options while importing the Basic Import
entity. To view the available options, you'll
need to choose "Basic Import” from the
“Select an entity” dropdown, and click “More
Options…”. This change has no impact on
the functionality. Secondly, on downloading a
template, the system will now automatically
select those data fields with the "required"
attribute set to "true" in the data model to
appear in the downloaded template, in
addition to the Business Keys for that
template.

Why is it important?
It was not possible to move the position along with the employee
when changing the supervisor in employee’s job information in
PP3.

Why is it important?
You can change the sequence of the sections, delete or add
them according to your needs (like in position org chart)
Note:
– The ‘Details’ section can’t be deleted, since it is always
displayed, if user clicks on position tile in position org
chart
– ‘Position’ and ‘People’ section is only shown, if the
company structure entity is configured to display
position/ people count. Note: people and position counts
does not respect RBP.

What is it?
The UI for the configuration of the auto delegation was built on V12 with
some accessibility limitations. Now the feature is build on UI5 and
therefore responsive and accessible.
Why is it important?
Now all users, including those with disabilities, can set up the auto
delegation for workflow and switch it off.

What is it?
The current RBP for National ID is a simple on/off
permission and allows full access (edit and/or display) to
National ID records irrespective of country and type.
With a new additional permission setting customers can
restrict the access of users to only the relevant (i.e. the
National ID of the country or employment). Any other
National ID (e.g. those of other countries entered in the
context of previous employments) will be suppressed.
Why is it important?
Customers want to prevent their users to view any
National IDs stored in Personal Information that do not
belong to the country (determined by the legal entity) of
the actual employment but relate to previous
employments in different countries on privacy reasons.

If you would like to change the HIRE date after completing a New
Hire it has many effects and you need to update every single portlet.
It would be much easier to have one place to change the hire date
and decide upfront which portlets you would like to update too.

It’s a job which allow to extract the Audit record for configuration changes done via Business Configuration Manager
Why is it important?
Customers need this data in order to analyze the changes and who did the changes. From last few release this was done via support ticket
process. This functionality will allow CS and PS to schedule a job in provisioning in order to get audit data for last 90 days and thus enabling
partial self-service.
