This visa allows recent engineering graduates to live, work or study in Australia for up to 18 months. You must
have completed a degree or higher quali cation from a speci ed institution within the past 2 years, and be under
31 years of age.

Stay longer
You can't stay in Australia longer by extending this visa, as you can't be granted another Skilled - Recognised Graduate visa.
You will need to apply for a different visa.
Include family
You can include members of the family unit in your application when you apply.
Family members who apply for the visa must meet our health (/help-support/meeting-our-requirements/health) and character (/help-
support/meeting-our-requirements/character) requirements.
You can add your children to the application until a decision on your application is made. You can't add any other member
of the family unit to your application during that period.
Your family can also apply to join you in Australia as a subsequent entrant after the visa is granted. See when you have this

Cost
The visa costs AUD375 for the main applicant.
There is also a charge for each family member who applies for the visa with you.
You might also have to pay other costs for health checks, police certi cates and biometrics.

Apply from
You can be in or outside Australia when you apply for the visa. When the visa is granted, you must be outside Australia.
Family members making a combined application must also be outside of Australia when the visa is granted.
If you are the holder of a Special Category (subclass 444) visa, you and family members who made a combined application
can be in or outside Australia when the visa is granted.

Step 1
If you plan to get a new passport, do so before applying for this visa.
If you have the 'No further stay' condition but wish to apply for this visa, you will need to apply to have
the condition waived using Form 1447 No Further Stay waiver (373KB PDF) (/form-listing/forms/1447.pdf).

Identity documents
Provide a coloured copy of the pages of your current passport showing your photo, personal details,
and passport issue and expiry dates.

You must be prepared to provide a police certi cate (/help-support/meeting-our-requirements/character) from
each country you have lived in for 12 months or more during the past 10 years after you turned 16 years
of age. Don't arrange for police certi cates until we ask you to. This applies to you and any member of
your family unit included in the application.

For both married and de facto applicants you must provide evidence that you are in a genuine and
continuing relationship. Evidence can include but is not limited to:
copies of birth certi cates or the family book showing the names of both parents of all your

an identity document that shows the signature and photo of the person who completed the form or
declaration, such as a passport or driver’s licence

You can apply for this visa by using the paper form or online in ImmiAccount (https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login).
We will not process your application until you pay the fee.
Each family member must have their application fee paid and documents attached to their application.
