Inlet Line Size 18" 10"
Outlet Line Size 18" 10"
7. Shell side Heat release curves are provided for SOR and EOR cases in page no. 5/10.
8. Shell side and Tube side inlet pressures shall be confirmed after detailed hydraulics.
9. 10/13th rule shall be applicable for calculating the design pressure of low pressure side i.e. shell side.
10. Refer sheet no. 3 and 8 of Annexure-I UOP General Notes and Specifications for additional notes and requirements.
11. Based on adequacy check of existing exchanger, tube side nozzles needs to be changed from 6" to 10". Other nozzles such as shell side nozzles,
instrument nozzles, neutralization nozzles, MP connections shall be as per existing exchanger. Refer existing GA drawing for details.
12. Weld overlay all materials in contact with the shell side and tube side fluids (other than tubes/tubesheets) with 3.2mm thick TP347.
13. Weld overlay thickness shall be considered as the corrosion allowance. The weld overlay shall not be considered in the mechanical design of this
exchanger.
14. Breech lock type closure is mandatory.
15. The overall dimensions of the exchanger such as Shell OD, shell side nozzle size & projections, saddle locations and tube length shall be same as
existing exchanger dimensions.
16. Vendor to maintain the same configuration of Exisitng exchanger 702-E-03A1-2,B1-2 as shown below for new Exchanger.
