    Welcome, candidates!

    Lipit Events Team is a non-profit organization composed of young


    leaders from the humble Sitio of Lipit, Cabaritan Norte, Naguilian, La
    Union, responsible for the annual New Year Celebration of the Zaparita
    Clan, held at the Ojascastro Compound since the late 90’s.
    They are considered as pioneers of innovation and stewards of the
    welfare of the youth. Officially launched in 2016, the team organized
    Miss Gay Universe Lipit 2016 where Mark Eric Farro won the title. This
    is a milestone production for it was the very first beauty pageant that
    was held in the Sitio.
    This year, Miss Gay Lipit 2019 will be working hand-in-hand with
    the SK Federation of Cabaritan Norte as well as the SK Federation of
    Naguilian and Naguilian Federated Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and
    Transgender(LGBT+), Incorporated.
    In line with the thrusts of the local LGBT+ chapter, the focus of
    this year’s event are the following but are not limited to:

     Know your status with HIV testing


     Gender equality
     Proud LGBT
     Health awareness,
     Personality development
     Environmental protection
     Fight against cyber bullying
     Body positivity
     Ageism
     Nationalism
    This year’s winner will not just take home the crown but also
    assume the following roles:
    1. Ambassador of LGBT in Sitio Lipit
    2. Lipit Events Team Facebook Page Editor
    3. Access to celebrations and gatherings in Sitio Lipit
    4. Will work closely with SK President of Cabaritan Norte and
    Naguilian, as well as Naguilian Federated LGBT, Inc.
    5. Advocate of HIV awareness
    6. Mandatory attendance to the New Year’s Eve celebration as her
    inauguration
    7. All other tasks that may be assigned by the Lipit Events Team from
    time to time
    Miss Gay Lipit is not just an ordinary beauty contest, but most of
    all a duty and responsibility to spread love and positivity throughout
    the community while carrying the torch of the LGBT community. This makes
    this contest to be considered the best of its kind.
