I. COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course aims to impart principles of reading and listening comprehension, the ability
to teach a lesson in reading and a lesson in listening comprehension, and experience
and practice in both types, using texts that correspond to the teaching at different levels.
Also, it is designed to give strategies for teaching reading and listening in the content
areas and information on how to use reading and listening strategies for all students.

The course aims to equip students with communication skills suitable for their academic
purposes. It is further meant to develop in students skills necessary for effective
communication in business and life in general.
