EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

I have prepared my internship report based on the two months long internship
program that I had successfully completed in Arth design build India pvt ltd,
Bengaluru branch from 04/Jun/2018 to 04/Aug./2108 as requirement of my MBA
program. My topic is “study of GST on interior décor “. In this report I described
about taxation policy and concept of GST and conditions which is currently
practiced in India, and how they manage their tax policy in interior design industry.
To describe these things I presented necessary calculations, table, graphs and
figure of interior designing.

The first chapter show different aspects of the report like brief introduction, origin
of GST and theoretical background. Second chapter show a brief industry and
company overview about Arth design build pvt ltd. Vision, mission special features,
product and services offered and some other necessary company related
information is provided in this chapter.

The next two chapters are the most important of this report chapter 4 describes
the calculation of GST and interpretations. I showed pre GST tax regime and the
current GST tax regime with a project in brief. Chapter 5 includes the findings,
recommendations and conclusion of the study.
