Our SP-DCSS Head, Most. Rev. Buenaventura M. Famadico, D.D. Guest of Honor
___________, guardians, companions, my dear co-graduates, teachers, staff, school
organization, headed by Mrs. Genalyn S. Sarmiento, Principal. Ladies and Gentlemen. An
extremely lovely morning!
Today is an important day for us all since we have quite recently finished a scene in
our lives – Senior High School life. Presently, we are going to begin another part of our
adventure, the college.
Jose Rizal once stated, "We, young Filipinos are trying to make-over a nation and must
not halt in our march, but from time to time turn our gaze upon the elders. We shall wish
to read in their countenances and approval of our action." We studied in Liceo de Bay
so we could be outfitted with sufficient learning and abilities in anticipation of vital jobs
we need to play in the public arena sometime in the future, and most uncommonly, to
transform into reality the prediction of our national hero, that we, undoubtedly can be
the expectation of our beloved nation, The Philippines.
Presently, I could just say that we are empowered and productive student that could
confront new difficulties towards new skyline. For I believe, that we are presently
prepared of the considerable number of things we need based from the encounters and
trainings we had experienced from our Alma Mater.
My dear co-graduates, the initial step has been fruitful. "Ika nga, the roots of education
is bitter, but the fruit it bears is very sweet."
The adventure is long and loaded down with thorns, yet our achievements in this school
are extremely fulfilling. The tolerance and devotion every one of us has appeared all
through our 6 years in High School are those what made us legends like Jose Rizal.
Our graduation today is the first of the arrangement of achievements that we will most
likely accomplish with the direction of our folks and individuals around us.
Everything in this world has a start. For our situation, we have recently achieved the
start. We accomplished the beginning. Consequently, there is no reason why we should
fail in our future undertakings.
Obviously, we won't have had the capacity to achieve this phase without the people
who helped us and who, without expecting nothing in return, guided us as we continue
looking for information. To them, we owe a ton of appreciation. No measure of words
can completely express the amount we acknowledge what they have accomplished for
us. We simply trust that we will almost certainly adjust for every one of their penances.
To our dear educators who showed us the exercise in the book as well as showed us
exercises, in actuality, we are most appreciative to Ms. Wynces Shaira Legaspi, our guide
who is strong to us; Mr. Burce who shaped our shrouded abilities into the real world,
particularly in doing proposition; Mrs. Gerlie Dela Cruz, our Economics Teacher who
showed us the essentials of life; Mr. Jay-R Gatchalian, our PE instructor who upheld us
since First Semester until our graduation today; Mr. Kevin Tabirao, our Filipino instructor
who guided us in our studies. We are exceptionally grateful to every one of you.
To our parents, who are dependably close to us since our first day in school, we share
with you our first taste of triumph. There will be more long stretches of battle. In any case,
we are certain that we will triumph since we have guardians like you. We can't give
budgetary or material diminishes now. We can just give you the delight, satisfaction, and
regard that you merit. Much thanks to you for being mindful guardians to us. We will not
be here in this world without you. We know the sacrifices you made just to send us to
class. To this, we are appreciative. To Papi and Mom, it would be ideal if you raise. I have
seen your battles in raising me. Thank you very much.
Senior High School is another step in our ladder of success. We do not know what will
happen next. But if we have an aim, a goal, it will make our dreams come true. We need
to continue studying and let’s make this a pledge for the new generation.
How about we make farewell to our old selves and state "hi" to the new "we"? But
always remember: be Empowered and Productive!
My dear co-graduates, thank you for all the good friendship, brotherhood and
camaraderie. Keep in mind forget, we are one!
