What are your top 5 selling products/categories?
What is the average order value of your products?
What product types will feature on your new website?

(For example, simple or complex products. (configurable, simple, virtual, bundled, tiered) Are there any
special considerations we should be aware of?)
Product Availability?
(Any delays? Lead time? How do you handle out of stock items? Will you have backorders or pre-orders?)
Are you planning on targeting overseas markets and which?
Are there any special considerations/variations we need to know about your products or
pricing structure?
Do you discount your product pricing and what are the discount options you wish to apply?
(ie.: special pricing, % or fixed discounts, buy x for $y, buy x get y free, gift with purchase, etc…)
What is your base transactional currency?

(Usually the currency that your merchant account supports.)
Which currencies will you display?

(These currencies will be available for the customer to get an idea of approximate cost in their selected
currency. Transactions are made in the store’s configured base currency.)
Are there any special tax or price considerations we should be aware of?
Payment / Checkout
What Payment Methods do you accept?
(ie.: Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Purchase Order, etc.)
Are some of your payment methods dependent on the type of customer?

(ie.: Purchase Order only available for trade customers.)
Which payment gateway will you be using?

(DPS is New Zealand’s most popular and recommended gateway.)
How do you ship your customer orders?

(Please explain your shipping charges and carriers you are using for both domestic and international
shipping as applicable.)

Do you require different customer groups to be configured and what rules do they have?
(ie.: General, VIP, Trade, etc. Groups allow for targeted promotions and pricing structures.)
Who is your target audience?

(Age group, Gender, B2B, B2C, Social status, Market sectors, Life style, Demographic, etc.)
How are you currently marketing/promoting new products/services to your existing

customer base?
How do your customers currently find you?
What online/offline marketing campaigns do you currently run?
Do you require an email newsletter template to be designed?

(If yes, what is the size of your database?)
Are you interested in incentivising newsletter subscribers?
Would you like to offer discounts/incentives to different groups or customers?
Are you using Google Analytics on your existing website?

(If yes, do you have conversion funnels in place and do you know your current conversion rate?)
Do you require assistance with setting up and maintain Google Adwords Campaigns or
Online Marketing Services?

Which markets are you looking to expand into?

(ie. Australia, United States)

(If yes, do you have access to a translator?)

(Please provide as much detail as possible, daily visits, pageviews, mobile stats, etc.)
