Advantages of Project Method of Teaching

The project method of teaching has several advantages: it is based on principles of effective learning, develops critical thinking skills, and takes a democratic approach. It fosters responsibility, self-reliance, problem solving abilities in students, and helps them develop social skills and a sense of accomplishment. Students also learn to self-evaluate. However, the project method also has limitations, such as learning sometimes becoming unfocused or haphazard. It can be challenging for teachers to ensure all subjects are adequately covered, and some students may not fully participate. The method can also disrupt schedules and lesson plans.
