    Able to know pre-tensioning and post tensioning systems, methods of pre-stressing, losses
    C423.1 of pre-stress.

    Able to analyze section for flexure and design of sections for flexure, shear, composite
    C423.2 section

    Able to analyze composite section for shrinkage, creep of concrete, relaxation of stress in
    C423.3 steel, slip in anchorage and frictional loss

    C423.4 Able to understand the factors influencing the deflections.

    C423.5 Able to understand the shear and principal stresses, Design consideration in shear beams.
