    configuration

    Preliminary steps:

    1. Before using this service, the Cloud P2P option in the DVR will need to be enabled. To do so, go to, Menu>
    Configuration>Network.

    2. Under Extranet Access tab, click on the Enable Cloud P2P and Enable Stream Encryption options.

    3. On the Verification Code window, enter any 6 capital letters from A-Z (ABCDEF for instance). Click on Apply
    when done. This code will be needed later on when adding the DVR to the cloud P2P account, which will be
    created in the next section.

    Registering for the P2P Cloud Service:

    1. Register an account on our free cloud service web site. Go to: www.hicloudcam.com and click on Register.
    2. Proceed to enter all user required information, and click on Next to continue.

    3. A verification code will be sent to the email account entered on the previous step. Please check the email
    account and enter the code received, followed by OK.
    4. A message will be displayed stating that the registration process is successful, followed by the automatic
    login into the newly created account. Only for the first time, a plug-in will need to be installed. Click on the
    Download Plug-in option in this step.

    5. Once download is complete, click on the plug-in to install it. Follow the on-screen prompts. Once the installa-
    tion process concludes, the page will automatically refresh. If not, refresh the web page manually, making
    sure to add this plug-in to the allowed list on the pop-up blocker settings.
    6. Next, go to System Management -> Device Management, and select or to
    enter the adding device interface. Two methods are provided for including the device, which are: Add
    Automatically and Add by Serial No.

    a. Add Automatically: The DVR devices with the same subnet will be automatically detected
    and listed on your network.
    b. Add by Serial No.: Input and search the Serial No. manually. This can be found on the DVR’s
    web interface.

    7. Select the device and then click to add it to the account.

    8. In the pop-up dialog box, input the Verification Code assigned in step 3 under the “Preliminary steps”
    section.

    Note: Make sure that the sequence matches exactly in capital letters.
    9.
    Go back to the Device Management interface, and click on Video Library. Live stream and access to video
    playback from the added DVR system is now available.

    Note: Follow the same steps for adding additional DVR systems.

    Using XpyView mobile application with P2P Cloud Service:

    1. Open the XpyView application on the mobile device.


    2. Tap on the button menu on the top left corner to display
    additional options. Then tap on the Cloud P2P option.

    3. Now sign in using the user name and password created


    in the previous sections. Once done, tap on Login.

    4. The following window will display all the added DVR


    systems on the account from the previous section.
    5. Tap on the desired DVR system, followed by the Start
    Live View option.

    6. The application may prompt to enter the Verification


    Code again for security purposes. Enter the Verification
    Code assigned to the selected system from step 3 under
    the Preliminary steps section, followed by Confirm.
    Note: Make sure that the sequence matches exactly in
    capital letters.

    7. Live stream and access to video playback from the


    selected DVR system is now available.
