Produce the sound of the letter Ii /i/ MT1PWR-Ib-1.2
Trace the big and small letter Ii MT1PWR-Ib-3.1
III. PROCEDURES
A. REVIEW
What was the lesson that we discussed yesterday?(Ano-ano an mga
nanudan ta kasuhapon?)
(pupils recall and tell the past lesson)
(teacher reviews the two(2) learned letters – Nn and Aa)
(teacher shows the following pictures and ask:)
What is the beginning sound of the picture? /n/ or /a/? (Sa anong
tanog nagpupuon ang nasa ritrato?)
Can you name other objects that begin with letter Ii?
C. DISCUSSION/MODELING
(teacher names the picture one by one and gives emphasis on the beginning
sound)
Ex.
We will have a group activity, but before that, what are the norms to
be followed before, during, and after the activity?
(pupils set the norms to be followed, e.g. follow instruction, be
cooperative)
Now, I will divide you into two (2) groups. Group A will write mama I at
the back of Group B and will count the number of strokes. And, Group B will
write the baby i at the back of Group A while counting also the number of
strokes.
(teacher guides the pupils in doing the activity)
E. GENERALIZATION
What is again the letter that we just discussed a while ago?
Letter Ii
Give the sound of letter Aa three times.
