    Introduction for Dr. Leoncio P.

    Lumaban

    It is with pride and enthusiasm that I will introduce to you our speaker. His
    name echoes the essence of service, dedication and compassion.

    His achievements even when he was still a student were truly commendable as
    they mirror his great sense of commitment, hard work and passion. His
    non-compliance to mediocrity made an indelible mark in his educational
    background. He finished his bachelors degree in Agricultural Education at the
    Isabela State University, consequently successfully passed the Agricultural
    Officer Examination and Philippine Board Examination for Teachers in the year
    1980.

    Bold-spirited, he hurdled countless challenges in his professional career. Hence,


    in the year 1996, he earned his degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Educational
    Management from St. Paul University- Philippines.

    His portfolio of Professional Development and Training is fascinating as each


    experience gives life to him being a man for others and a man of God. To name
    a few, he had a training in Result- based Program Management System
    Performance Planning and Evaluation Training, Field Technical Assistance
    Division and Quality Assurance Division Charter Development Workshop, Value
    Intergration and Team Building Workshop, and Training- Workshop on Bridging
    Leadership.

    In addition, he is also a part of some trainings conducted and sponsored by the


    Department of Education and National Educators Academy of the Philippines.

    He is a precious gem of the DepEd Regional Office. He has held various


    positions from being a Education Supervisor up to Chief Education Supervisor
    at present.

    Being a father of four equally gifted children is a glory he always keep.


    Undoubtedly, he is a loving husband to his wife- Josefina.
    A man we can personally admire because of his wisdom, generous heart, caring
    spirit and unconquerable principle.
