Now, let us listen to the mechanics of the contested activities from Mr.

Thank you sir! So those are the mechanics and everybody deserves a good
luck!
And now, to quench our thirst, let’s proceed to the highlight of the District
Arts Month Celebration, the folkdance competition!
-- We would like to inform you that the dancers are grouped according to
the number of participants per school.
--- Their entrance and exit with the tune of Paruparong Bukid have no
bearing in their final score.
--This will be the flow. First to present are the Kindergarten pupils for their
interpretative dance followed by Grades 1-6 for their prescribed dances.
CONTEST PROPER
Bahay Kubo
Alitaptap- This dance is native to the Tagalogs. The term “alitaptap” refers
to an insect which flies only at night and looks like it is carrying a lamp.
Kilingkingan- It is a dance from Cagayan that derives its name from a small
bird that lives in caves and has a call which resembles the sound of
bamboo castanets.
I know you’re all excited to hear the result of the competition. Without much
ado, may we call on Dr. Joewalter J. Blanza, the chairman on Committee
on Awards and the competent and efficient School Principal II of Bagong
Tanza Elementary School at the same time, for the awarding ceremony.
