    1.0 PURPOSE

    Thi~; Circular is being issued to provide for uniform guioelines in the
    payment of salary and honorarium to ex-officio members of local
    legk;lative bodies in .accordance with the principles and poiicy of the
    Salary Standardization Law under RA 6758,. and t~ implement
    Administrative Order No. 337 amending Article. 77(2) of the Implemcmting
    RulHSand Pegulations of the 1991 Local Government Code :RA 7160).. .

    2.0 COVERAGE

    All Federation/Chapter Presidents of the Sangguniang Kabalaan (SK) and


    Liga ng mga Barangay in Municipalities, Cities and Provinces; Municipal
    and City Federation/Chapter Vice-Presidents of the SK and the Liga ng
    mgCi Barangay; and the Presidents. of the Provincial r=ederation of
    Sangguniang Members of Municipalities and Component Cites.

    4.0 REPEALING CLAUSE

    All rules and regulations inconsistGnt with the provIsions of this Circular
    shall be deemedmodifiedaccordingly. '.

    5.0 - EFFECTIVITY

    This Circular shall take effect immediately.
