    IKGPTU B- Plan Competition – 2019

    IKGPTU Business Plan Competition – 2019 provides an opportunity for entrepreneurial-


    minded student community to come together for the purpose of fostering new business
    development. The competition has three Phases.
    Phase I: Submission of the Business Plan at http://www.ptu.ac.in/EventRegistration.aspx
    and submit a soft copy of the Business Plan at ptuecell@gmaill.com
    Phase II: Evaluation of present B - Plan idea by judges and declaration
    of shortlisted students.
    Phase III: Presentation of the Business Proposal.
    Team size: 2-4 (all must be regular bonafied students of IKGPTU Main Campus).

    Phase I: B- PLAN COMPITITION (Submission) (March 26, 2019 (Tuesday)

    The team requires to submit a soft copy of Business Plan proposal at ptuecell@gmail.com by
    March 26, 2019 before 2359 hrs
    The Business plan must be under the following headings:
    Company Overview
    Product or Service
    Market need
    Market Potential for the Product or Service
    Competitive advantage
    Business Model Team
    Financials
    Funding required
    Conclusion.
    Format:
    Business Plan must not be over 10 pages, including the cover page.
    Margins must not be smaller than an inch on any side.
    Font size of body text should be between 11 and 12 points.
    Document text should be 1.5 spaced.

    All the submissions will be evaluated by a team of Judges and shortlisted plan will be declared for final
    presentation.

    Phase II: B – Plan Competition Evaluation (March 27, 2019 (Wednesday)

     Evaluation of registered B - Plan idea by judges and declaration of


    shortlisted students at 1700 hrs.
    Phase III: B – Plan Competition/Presentation (March 29, 2019, Friday)

    The team will be required to make a PPT presentation of their B-Plan for which each
    team will be given 8-10 minutes. Judges will make their decisions.

    Judging Guidelines

    The judges will be proposed the appended criteria for evaluating the IKGPTU
    Business Plan Competition-2018:
    40% - Quality of business plan
    20% - Judges’ assessment of the potential of the idea
    40% - Impact of Presentation
    The decision of the jury shall be final.
