PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT MISSION AND VISION

MISSION
Guided and inspired by the University’s maxim “Ciencia Y Virtud”. The Psychology Department
is committed to provide relevant core curriculum course for all students in various degree
programs of the University.

VISION
To become the Top of professionally competent psychometrician and psychologist.

OBJECTIVES
It is also the aim of the department/program to develop caring and competent Psychology
graduates rooted in his/her identity as a Filipino who lives and works with integrity in a global
community.

It is committed to:

1. Engender a sense of professionalism among Psychology students;


2. Promote a camaraderie and goodwill among Psychology majors thus fostering
cooperation and readiness to serve;
3. Establish an official affiliation with their reputable Psychological Associations in order to
keep pace with developments in the field; and
4. Advance the university’s academic prestige through participation in their inter-university
conference, symposia, and academic contest.
