    Lesson Plan in Computer

    I. Objectives:
    At the end of the of the 60 minute period, 100% of the students should be able to do the
    following with at least 75% level of success.
    A. Identify all the basic parts of the computer.
    B. Determine their respective functions.
    C. Differentiate the output devices and the input devices
    D. Troubleshoot the basic problem and error of these components.
    E. Participate actively and voluntarily in class discussion.

    A. Motivation
    Who among you here is playing games or just browsing the internet and social
    media. Can you name some things you are using when doing these things.

    B. Presentation of the lesson


    You’ve mentioned keyboard, mouse, headset, etc. did you know that these are just
    parts of what we’re going to tackle today. Are you ready to listen? So lest head to
    our main lesson today. The Basic parts of the computer

    C. Development of the lesson

    1. What are the main parts of the computer?


    2. What are the inner parts of the computer?
    3. What are the outer parts of the computer?
    4. What are the relationships between the components?
    5. What are the functions of each components?
    6. How can these functions helps or affects the users?
    7. What is the difference between output and input?
    8. What are the precautions when handling these components?
    9. What are the common problem encountered with these components
    10. What are the things to consider when buying these components?

    D. Exercise
    The class will divide by two and each group will identify the computer part or
    component and determine their respective functions.

    What are the basic Computer parts?
    F. Valuing
    You have a friend who wants to buy a desktop computer set but he does not know
    the parts and function of each parts. You are worried that he might buy the
    wronged ones or even those expensive ones. He asked for your help.
