    Content : Reflective Essay on Related Learning Experience

    The week’s rotation was a very special one because we were not in a hospital
    setting. Instead we did our duty in a clinic in a rubber company IWAKAMI. Personally, I
    have not heard the name IWAKAMI before and I thought it was a hospital. It was located
    in Lapu-Lapu so we needed to ride the school service which made it more exciting. We
    went on duty in the company’s clinic and I’ve learned a lot. Most of the time, we took the
    patient’s vital signs mostly the blood pressure. There were some who went in because
    they wanted to go on half day and there were some who just wanted to know their blood
    pressure. Aside from taking the vital signs, we inspected the sanitation of the canteen
    too. We were given a checklist and evaluated the areas of the canteen and it was a fun
    experience. We were assigned to make a learning feedback diary and it was one of the
    highlights in our rotation for me because our clinical instructor also gave her feedback on
    our feedback. It was fun reading her comments and a meaningful one as well. On our
    last day of rotation, we conducted a seminar on H.I.V. I was happy because it was
    interactive and I can say it was a successful one. Overall I enjoyed the rotation and
    definitely learned a lot.
