    RE: Construction And Maintenance of Glassfiber Reinforced Epoxy Piping and Gre Gratings
    Systems
    Am writing this letter to draw the attention of your company (Morpol Jahind Zakhem Association)
    for the need to diversify in to the construction and maintenance of Glassfiber reinforced epoxy
    implanted Piping & GRE Gratings systems applications in the upstream oil and gas sector due to the
    enormous benefits it portends as a result of the depleting metal installations due to the
    conventional corrosive effects metals.

    Being a company that is already in the fabrication and construction of pipelines and haven worked
    with you on some previous occasions (Koroama SPUU project) i would love to have some level of
    collaboration on the above subject area in the upstream oil and gas sector as it has become more
    imperative as a result of the ever worsening corrosive and harsh weather and environmental
    conditions from the presence of salt from sea water on metals and a huge financial / safety burden
    in the maintenance and running of facilities within those corrosion infested areas.

    The introduction of technological innovations like the reinforced epoxy implanted Piping and
    Gratings systems in question has not only reduced the financial burden in the maintenance and
    running of facilities in such areas but had also improved the safety concerns faced in operating
    within corrosion infested areas. The safety of any facility can never be overemphasized, it depends
    solely on the quality of materials/ the installed equipment it has and a well thought-out mode of
    operations by competent personnel.

    Am a certified GRE/GRP specialist, and have been into the construction & maintenance of Glassfiber
    reinforced epoxy implanted piping systems in ExxonMobil facilities as a contract staff in (BRT, QIT,
    OSO and ERHA FPSO) also briefly on the start-ups and commissioning of Bonga FPSO, Total Amenam
    II HOOKUP and AKPO FPSO's for quite some good number of years.

    The benefits in delving into this area of operations is quite enormous owing to the need for upgrades
    and changes in the mode of construction of new/ maintenance of already existing upstream oil and
    gas facilities as a result of new technological innovations due to corrosion/ harsh environmental
    conditions and more importantly the safety concerns affecting key metal installations.

    Attached herewith is a slide presentation of what Glassfiber reinforced epoxy implanted piping
    systems is, where it can be applied and the value of the market size in six years time from now owing
    to the above stated conditions.
