    PDEA Deputy General for Operations Gregorio Pimentel said they launched
    “Undaspot” with the LandTransportation Office (LTO) and Land Transportation
    Franc hising and R egulation Board (LTFRB) to ensure of commuters heading home
    to there provi nces.

    Kung ma confirm po sila, there driver’s license will automaticaly be furfeited
    and they will be undergoing reformatory or depende, kung rehabilitation na process
    sila (If they test positive, they will be subjected to a confirmatory test. And if theyare
    confirmed, their driver’s lisense will automatically be forfeited and they will be
    undergoing reformatory or rehabilitation process),” said Pimentel.

    ineensure po natin sila na sila ay nasa is ang driver na wala ng droga sa impluwensya,
    hindi lasing (This is for the sake of our commuting public’s security and safety and to
    ensure they will be in the hands of drivers who are not under the influence of drugs
    or alcohol), Pimentel said in a chance interview.
    PDEA, LTO and LTFRB conducted surprise drug tests at the JAC Liner Bus Terminal
    and Philtranco in PasayCity and Partas Bus Terminal and Five Star Bus Terminal in
    Que zon City.
    Pimentel said Undaspot will not only cover the National Capital Region (NCR), but
    all regions nation wide.

    Could drivers test positive in the initial and confirmatory tests, Pimentel said
    their driver’s license will be forfeited & will berequired to underwent
    reformatory or rehabilitation process.

    “PMA is deeply saddened for this unfortunate loss, and extends our sincerest
    condolences to the family and friends of Cdt 2CL Gadia,” Tindog said.
    An aspiring military officer at the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) has
    died in a hospital where he was being treated for cancer.

    “It is with a heavyheart that PMA announced the passing of cadet 2nd Class cedrick
    Gadia, who succumbed to his battle with cancer today 28 October 2019 at 5:15 AM,
    at the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) Medical Center,” said PMA
    spokesperson Cpt. cherryl Tindog said in a statement.
    Gadia’s ailment was detect after he was admitted at the Fort DelPilar Station Hospital
    at PMA in August, and then he was brought to the AFP Medical Center in Quezon
    City the following month were he was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer with
    lever and lung metastasis.

    The PMA is updated its medical protocols and hospital equipment to be able to detects
    and treat cadets with seriouos conditions that have not been detected thorough
    conventional examinations.

    The tragedy shocked teachers and employees of the military school who are still
    reeling from the Sept. 18 hazing death of Cadet Fourth Class Darwin Dormitorio and
    the circulation of videos showing cadets beating underclassmen in 2018.

    Gadia should had been a member of PMAClass of 2021.


    The PMA is currently arranging the transfer of Gadia’s remains from AFP Medical
    Center to Candon Ilocos Sur.
