A. Content Standard
The learner demonstrates understanding and application of musical skills related to
selected Traditional theater.

B. Performance Standard
The learner performs excerpts from traditional Asian theater with appropriate pitch
rhythm, expression and style

C. Learning Competencies
describe how a specific idea or story is communicated through music in a particular Asian

I. Objectives
a. Identify the different kinds of notes through discussion question and answer.
b. Discover their interest in writing by having their experiences and ideas.
c. Create a story line about love, friendship, heroism , drama and comedy using the
elements of the story
II. Subject Matter
Topic: Shadow puppetry creating a story line.
Materials: Visual aid Chalk paper and pen.
References: Music and arts learner module
