SCF File Creation for BBU Swap

Please follow the step below for creating the SCF File for the BBU Swap.

1. Getting a snapshot as input for the SCF file

a. Go to ATT LTERAN Snapshot Request Page -
http://mobility.app.nokia.com/~lteops/att/SNAPSHOT/attSnapshotRequestInfo.php, or
b. Go to the Backfill Page - http://devtools1.cb.lucent.com:8090/

2. Use the Summary_Cells_For_AirSacale_Swap_Tool from the SP

a. Open the SS with Notepad++ and do a copy and paste to the tool
b. You will get a summary for the sites similar to using WPS but faster

3. Using One Click to generate the initial SCF file

a. Import SS to One Click Page-http://10.133.106.112:81/JqueyAjaxServlet/RunPMap.jsp (what is tool password to
unlock email field)
b. Once completed, download the pmap_package.zip file

4. Using BTS Service Manager for audit on the initial SCF

a. Things to check first:

i. With the current FL17SP, Cat-M is not supported:
1. on 5MHz B17, set "actCatM" to "false"
2. On SIMO (1Tx2Rx) config, set "actCatM" to "false"
ii. When fixing the REDRT error on any cell, don’t copy entire MO from another cell. E.g, copying
B29 to B66 may overwrite B66 cell name/settings. A screen shot of the error from the
spreadsheet would be useful.
iii. For 15 or 20 MHz carrier has 4T or 4R, do not share ABIA; make sure it is the only carrier on the ABIA
iv. For two B4 with 10 MHz + 5 MHz that share same RRH (See table at the end of this note for details):
1. UHIE can support on the same ABIA, but
2. UHIA can't support it yet
3. UHIA can only support 5 MHz + 5 MHz

b. Choose the release package (the latest is FL17SP 0000-000363-000002) and click “Create”
c. The release package can be obtained from - http://mobility.app.nokia.com/~ltedata/BTS_SM/
d. Open the BTS SM and click “Create File” on the left after install
e. Check the Create file from existing commissioning file and browse/open the initial SCF file from the
pmap_package.zip file
f. On Page 2, compare the hardware configuration with the existing site and model type from the SR. (Reconfigure
the SCF file by following Step 5 if needed)
g. On Page 21, modify the Synchronization input settings per below:
i. For Single BBU, it should have the following parameters:
1. CLOCK\Sync input type = “1pps/ToD from External GNSS/GPS receiver”
2. CLOCK\Total delay from SHM = unset
3. CLOCK\OutputConfiguration1Pps = “disabled”
4. CLOCK\OutputConfiguration2M048 = “disabled”

ii. For 2BBU (Master & Slave)

1. Master should have the following parameters
a. CLOCK\syncInputType = "1pps/ToD from External GNSS/GPS receiver"
b. CLOCK\outputConfiguration1Pps = “enabledwithoutbtsinputreference”
c. CLOCK\outputConfiguration2M048 = “enabledwithoutbtsinputreference”
d. CLOCK\totalDelayfromSHM = unset
2. Slave should have the following parameters
a. CLOCK\syncInputType = 1pps/ToD from Sync Hub Master BTS
b. CLOCK\outputConfiguration1Pps = “disabled”
c. CLOCK\outputConfiguration2M048 = “disabled”
d. CLOCK\totalDelayfromSHM = 2ns

iii. For multiple BBUs (Master, Slave1,….Slave_last)

1. Master should have the following parameters

a. CLOCK\syncInputType = 1pps/ToD from External GNSS/GPS

b. CLOCK\outputConfiguration1Pps = “enabledwithoutbtsinputreference”

c. CLOCK\outputConfiguration2M048 = “enabledwithoutbtsinputreference”

d. CLOCK\totalDelayfromSHM = unset

2. Slave1….n should have the following parameters

a. CLOCK\syncInputType = 1pps/ToD from Sync Hub Master BTS

b. CLOCK\outputConfiguration1Pps = “enabledwithoutbtsinputreference”

c. CLOCK\outputConfiguration2M048 = “enabledwithoutbtsinputreference”

d. CLOCK\totalDelayfromSHM = 2ns

3. Slave_last should have the following parameters

a. CLOCK\syncInputType = 1pps/ToD from Sync Hub Master BTS

b. CLOCK\outputConfiguration1Pps = “disabled”

c. CLOCK\outputConfiguration2M048 = “disabled”

d. CLOCK\totalDelayfromSHM = 2ns

h. On Page 24, verify the Antenna Configuration and the power setting if the SCF has the same configuration as fALU
SS (1Tx/1RX, 1Tx/2RX, 2TX/2RX, 4TX/2RX, 4TX/4RX);
1. Due to BB Pooling already active, no need to downgrade Tx or Rx

i. On Page 26, check 3GPP/AISG:

i. if isRfmAisgEnabled(fALU) = “False", uncheck 3GPP/AISG Communication boxes;

Else, leave boxes checked

ii. B30 RRHs(UHNA) need to set to “FALSE”

j. On Page 33, check and modify the following fields and parameters:
i. positionInSubrack parameter need to set correctly
1. Master : positionInSubrack = Leftside
2. Slave : positionInSubrack = RightSide

ii. For 4 or more carriers - additional objects and parameters to be added and modified
1. LNBTS/actFlexScellSelect = “TRUE”
2. CADPR/enableA6Event = “TRUE”
3. Target instances on CAPR object -

If carrier has 3 or more SCell, enableA6Event = “TRUE”

Else, enableA6Event ="False"

iii. For LNCEL threshold2WcdmaQci1:

1. if actSrvccToWcdma is FALSE, set it to -140 dBm
2. if actSrvccToWcdma is TRUE, set it to threshold2Wcdma +
rsrpOffsetOnServingCellForVoIPCalls (fALU)

iv. Letter “F” was added to the “cellname” of all sectors for cMRO/cRAN sites

v. DL Power –
1. Verify LNCEL/Pmax with cellDLTotalPower (fALU)

vi. Downlink Reference Signal Boost

1. Verify LNCEL_FDD/Dlrsboost with cellDLTotalPower(fALU), referenceSignalPower(fALU)
and dlBandwidth(fALU) and using Power calculator

vii. set MODPR autoAdapt = false 9/6/2017

viii. Ensure to remove these from MODPR: 8/30/2017

1. freqLayListCsfbHighWcdma
2. freqLayListCsfbNormWcdma
3. freqLayListPsHoWcdma
4. freqLayListSrvccWcdma

ix. FROM MODPR -Remove the CSFB 2 frequency lists (normal + high priority) if they exist; add the
UTRAN frequency lists for PsHoWcdma & SrvccWcdma only

x. Set LNBTS actServBasedMobThr = TRUE ‘1’

xi. Set LNBTS RRCGuardTimer = 59 or 5900

xii. Set LNCEL sbHoMode = “all” 8/30/2017

xiii. LNCEL: sbHoMode: To be set to ec 9/6/2017

xiv. Set LNBTS_FDD actInterFreqServiceBasedHo = false 8/30/2017

xv. LNBTS_FDD: actInterFreqServiceBasedHo - To be set to TRUE 9/6/2017

xvi. hysA3OffsetRsrpInterFreq and a3OffsetRsrpInterFreq should now be handled by one-click,

otherwise set (hysA3OffsetRsrpinterFreq = 15)

xvii. Set a3TriggerQuantityHO to “RSRQ”

5. Reconfigure the ABIA Allocation:

a. Modify the SCF file using Notepad++
b. Per schedule the model type for AZL00231/ is ID_1_2_3_1

ENODEB ENODEB BBU ID_OD CARRIER SECTOR Model Type

BBU1 BBU2 COUNT COUNT COUNT

AZL00231 AZL04634 2 Indoor 4 3 ID 1_2_3_1

i.

c. So, we will configure this site as below:

i. For AZL00231 (Master) -
1. ABIA 1 – B17 & B2
2. ABIA 2 – B30

ii. For AZL04634 (Slave) –

1. ABIA 1 – B4
Delete the BBMOD -3 (ABIA 3)
