Dow Corning® 190 Fluid is a silicone copolymer that can be used to stabilize PU foam and impart hydrophilicity to non-woven substrates like polyolefin-based materials. It provides instant wetting and moisture transfer properties.
Dow Corning® 190 Fluid is suitable for stabilizing PU foam and for use on most non-woven substrates. It can be used as a semi-durable hydrophilic treatment for non-woven substrates, especially polyolefin based coverstocks.
Dow Corning® 190 Fluid can be dissolved in water at room temperature with stirring to form a stable solution. This solution can then be applied to the non-woven substrate by padding or spraying after the web has been formed and dried.
