OBJECTIVE
To continue to work as a secondary English Language Arts teacher at a high calibur school. I
aim to teach in an environment that reflects my own teaching philosophy: inquiry-based
learning that focuses on holistic development of the student as both a lifelong learner and a
compassionate, global citizen. While my experience lies in that of the US Common Core
curriculum, I am also eager to be trained in and teach the IB-MYP/DP curriculum.

Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS) - Salaya, Thailand
Grade 10 English language arts teacher following the US Common Core Curriculum.
❖ Planned and revised 6 different units, including focuses on poetry, short stories, and the
novel Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson.
❖ Developed over 10 engaging and challenging summative assessments, such as
personal narratives, argumentative essays, and literary analyses.
❖ Encouraged the school community to be part of students’ learning units, such as
students using QR codes and Google surveys to receive community feedback on
assignments, organizing a showing of their persuasive films for school members and
parents, and displaying their SSR (Sustained Silent Reading) book reviews in the library.
