    Sir:

    Greetings and Salutation.

    Another chapter has been unfolded when this petitioner celebrated a full fifteen-years-
    of-service in the 10th day of December 2018 last year. The celebration was simple, quiet, solitary
    and caught no attention just like a normal celebration of a mere classroom teacher, yet revealing
    years of sustaining Grace and moments of Mercy wrapped-up with love from the ever-caring
    hand of the Lord God Almighty, who lives forever and ever.

    Struggles are inevitable in coping-up the stairs to higher service and mission in life, trials
    overwhelmed by the group of people who flipped the good story of life to believable lies, yet the
    constant still small voice kept reminding this petitioner, “You have a mission to fulfill”. Maybe
    another mission to fulfill.

    In connection with this mission to fulfill, I would ask your generous office as a matter of
    right to enhance professional advancement and as a matter of privilege for the entitlement to
    grant my petition and/or request for a Study leave with Pay as mandated under Sec.5, Article
    XIV and R.A. 4670 known as Magna Carta for Teachers.

    The laws thus provide:

    “The state shall enhance the right of teachers to professional advancement” (Article XIV,
    Section 5, paragraph 4) and,

    “Study Leave. In addition to the leave privileges now enjoyed by teachers in the public
    schools, they shall be entitled to study leave not exceeding one school year after seven years of
    service. xxx During the period of such leave, the teachers shall be entitled to at least sixty percent
    of their monthly salary”xxx. (Section 24, R.A. 4670).
    The coming month of November 2019 is another moment of challenge to make to every
    BAR taker in the Philippines. Long as it seemed to prepare for such rigorous exam,
    Time is very essential, indispensable and expediently needed for the preparation in order to fit-
    in to such demanding, prestigious, arduous and most challenging exam.

    May the cited laws (SUPRA) be enough grounds for the approval of this petition and/or
    request. While the law expressly provides not to exceed one year of study leave, my leave barely
    covers 5 months and 5 days; that’s is from July 01, 2019 (Monday) to December 05, 2019
    (Thursday). May your good and generous office grant this petition and/or request. Receipt of
    payment from SOLAS (SWU BAR OPERATIONS) for the Bar Exam is attached herewith. God bless
    to us.
