FOREWORD
Thank God, we always pray for the presence of Allah SWT who has
bestowed His grace and gifts so that we can complete this paper in order to fulfill
group assignments for English courses, with the title: "Housekeeping equipment
and its functions".
We realize that in writing this paper, it cannot be separated from the help
of many parties to sincerely provide prayers, suggestions and criticisms so that
this paper can be resolved.
We are fully aware that this paper is far from perfect due to our limited
experience and knowledge. Therefore, we expect all forms of advice and input
and even constructive criticism from various parties. Finally, we hope that this
paper can provide benefits for the development of education

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background Of The Paper
Housekeeping Department is one of the departments in a hotel that
prioritizes completeness, room cleanliness, safety, environmental sustainability in
the hotel area, both operational and administrative. House keeping department can
be interpreted as a department that stands alone and has a very important role and
role in a hotel, which is tasked with maintaining the overall cleanliness of the
hotel. The house keeping department consists of sections. In each section carrying
out the duties and functions of each. In carrying out their duties, the existing
sections must establish healthy cooperation with one another so that a dynamic
and conducive working atmosphere can be created. The department house keeping
sections are room section, public area, laundry, florist, gardener, linen and
uniform. Each section certainly has its own cleaning materials to perform every
task of each section in house keeping. This cleaning agent certainly has a very
important role for house keeping officers to help and facilitate every job of house
keeping officers
Doing such cleaning required, of course, additional cleaning tools and would help
to speed up the work.

 Electric Cleaning Equipment
This cleaning tools uses a machine to save time and energy and improve the
quality of electrical cleaning equipment is very approprite to use.
1) Vaccum Cleaner : Its Function to suck up the dust on the floor and carpet
2) Polishing machine : Its function is to glossing the floor
3) Shampoing carpet machine : its function to get that stain off the carpet

4) Extraction Machine : This is for to suck up the water that’s still left on
the carpet
5) Carpet Master : its function to for a thick and long carpet comb out
6) Pool Machine : Its function to clean the floor of the sweeming pool
7) Floor Machine : its function to scrub the floor surface from the filth that
has stuck

CLOSING
3.1 Conclusion
cleaning equipment machine in the housekeeping department aim to make

it easier for workers to speed time in the work. The cleaning machines are very
important for the housekeeping departement.
