Demonstrate respect to road signs and symbols to keep everyone in the community

A.Bring Me Game.
1. Engage (5 minutes)
Group the class in five groups and give them
pictures of signs and symbols. The teacher will say
the meaning of the signs and symbols and the
students will present the picture in front. The
member of the group who can give the picture first
gets the point.
After the activity, ask the class and say, “From the activity
we just did, what do you think is our lesson today?”

2. Explore (10 minutes) The teacher hands in signs to each group. The signs are
either warning or prohibitive signs. The groups are tasked
to decide if a sign is a warning or prohibitive sign. On a
manila paper, the group will write in what column does a
sign belong. Ten signs are given. These are: No tricycles,
no motorcycles, winding road, landslide prone area,
loading and unloading zone, pedestrian crossing ahead,
school zone, curve, no overtaking, and no trespassing.
With the same group, the students will act out situations
given by the teacher. The group with the most appropriate
scene portrayed will get one point. First group to get three
points wins the game.
