Hello Navya,How are you? I am Manoj kumar, teaching Hindi & Sanskrit to Class 8th & 9th. I am
also working as a Asst. House Master. I had completed a training of BASIC COUNSELLING.
After training, now I am playing the role of pastoral guide. I love to talk with children, so I called

1. Navya stayed quiet in the class need to be explore the reason behind it.

3. It seems that Navya discomfort in her class need explore the reason for it.
4. It seem that Navya probably not eating proper meal for the last two days need be explore
the reason for it.
5. Navya enjoying Dance, need to be find out whether she still doing it or not.
6. Navya is a teenager girl child, need to be find her interpersonal relationship with other
friends.

However, we need to validate all the possibilities behind her behaviors in the counseling
sessions.

Emotional States of the Counselee :

 It seems that she is very upset regarding the changes happening in her immediate
environment.

Interventions by counselor:

 Rapport will be established with Navya.


 Explore the matter with the teacher and try to find out why she has no friends and other
students ignore her. Teacher appreciation and her marvelous painting may be the reason
for the student’s ignorance.
 Explore the matter with the parents and try to find out how much quality time they spend
with her. Due to leaving Navya with her close relatives they are unable to spend some
time with her.
 Focus will be given on building self confidence, self awareness regarding health, positive
beliefs about self by various techniques.
 Explore her skills in dancing and encourage her to get involved in it and continue it so
that she can enhance her skill.
