    Multi-location Network and Electrical (UPS)

    Implementation Planning @ BESCOM Sites

    Project Details :

    System Integration Partner : ACCEL Frontline Ltd.

    Project Implementation Client : BESCOM , Karnataka

    Activity : LAN , Electrical Passive Installation , Electrical Earthing

    Project Objectives :

     Supply and Install UTP CAT6 Network at various BESCOM Offices in Karnataka
     Supply and Install UPS Electrical Points near the Data Points
     Provide Standard Electrical Earthing at site if it is not available or does not meet
    the standards
     Install Network Active Components in the network wiring closet.
     Test and Document the above mentioned activity

    Project Assumptions :
    For this implementation to take place, the following assumptions have been made:

     All sites are ready for Network and Electrical installation, and the end Customer has
    ensured that any power, Civil work, Interiors has been completed prior to the
    implementation team's arrival.
     All Passive Components will be Supplied by Accel Frontline Ltd, Including electrical
    Components , LUCID Networks Pvt Ltd, Will be responsible for Conduits and Earthing
    components
     Total Number of points ( LAN and Electrical) in each location will be confirmed
    prior to the team arrival in the respective site.
     Sites requiring Electrical Earthing Will be confirmed in Advance before moving the
    implementation team
     Schedule for completion of project, Sites of priority will be finalised in advance with
    mutual discussions.
     During implementation, it is assumed that one or more person from Accel Frontline
    Ltd. will be co-ordinating with BESCOM for the LAN and Electrical Implementation to
    whom the our Implementation team could report and update.

    Project Implementation Plan :

     Initial Site Status to be prepared by the Feedback by BESCOM, Accel / Site Visit.
    3 Weeks in advance
     Take up the implementation of various BESCOM offices on District wise.
     LUCID will setup 5 teams of 3 member each to implement Data and Electrical
    Wiring.
     There will be One team of 2 member for implementing electrical earthing
    activity.
     Overall Activity will Managed on daily basis by 2 Project managers.
     Teams could be increased depending upon the sites and Schedules. Lucid has
    various Sub Contractors who can provide additional teams upto 15
     Average Day spent on each Site is One ( Assuming of average points per location
    is between 4-8)

    Materials :

     The Team will carry necessary Conduit and other components for the site based
    on the nodes required during their visit.
     Transportation of Passive components if Supplied by Accel to be confirmed in
    advance to the implementation team.
     The Team will be leaving to the site only if all required materials for the
    particular site is available in advance.

    Completion and Reporting :

     Daily Activity report shall be submitted to Accel by LUCID project managers


     Sites of Implementation will be informed in Advance to Accel by LUCID Project
    managers.
     The Implementation team will take a sign-off from the Office incharge at the site
    in the form of JSM/ Installation Note.
     ( JSM : Joint Statement of Measurement) , It will contain total number of Data
    Points, Electrical Points , Rack, Patch panel, Number of Electrical Points.
     Earthing Implementation team will take separate Sign-off from the Office In-
    Charge at the Site.
     Any Discrepancies in the sign-off by BESCOM will be cleared by LUCID Project
    Manager.
