Primavera 6 Brief:
It is one of Project Management programs, it is from oracle, which can manage, monitoring, control time
and cost through project.
Primavera 6 Benefits:-
1. You can make time schedule for project with all relations and durations, and compute total project
duration through available performance rates, and compute required number of crows for all items.
2. You can control the project duration.
3. You can add all resources to items and get project total price & project total cost.
4. You can get cash in & cash out flow chart distributed monthly or weekly.
5. You can get materials and subcontractor procurement logs.
6. You can get planned total quantity and total budget for any resources (materials, subcontractor,
manpower…) at the beginning of the project.
7. You can compute the impact due to change in price to any resources, such as change the price of
steel, concrete, ………..
8. You can get the Execution Programs for Site (Look Ahead Activities, Cash Flow, procurements).
9. You can monitor time and cost and compare actual with planned and get reports that contains the
following :-
a. Earned value (EV).
b. Planned value cost (PV).
c. Actual total cost (AC).
d. Cost variance (CV).
e. Cost performance index (CPI).
f. Schedule performance index (SPI).
g. Budget at completion due to actual rates (BAC).
h. Estimate to complete.
i. Expected variance at completion.
10. You can add any variations orders to base line.
11. You can compute time impact due to variations and get time claim.
12. Show the resources that contain variance between actual & budgeted costs.
