How to finance loans to customers according to

their financial soundness and to provide them best


loans schemes with minimal amount of interest.
Currently I am dealing with three departments in
Shri ram city union finance limited are as under:
PURPOSE OF THIS SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

1. To fully understand the concept of two wheeler loans how the company deals
with customers and how they provide loans to their customers. Marketing is
the essence of every field you have to do marketing whether it is sales
finance or operations.

Two Wheeler Loans


Our Company offers various options for financing the purchase of two
wheeler vehicles across manufacturers and brands. A widespread presence
in dealer showrooms, and with preferred finance tie-ups with all two wheeler
brands in India have given us a distinct edge in segment. Our company
executives man dealer showrooms with a dedicated team to clear proposals,
making it the quickest and most efficient financing option a customer can
ask for.

2. When the customers clear all of the EMI along with the interest and
collected the no objection certificate from the company then the
company provide some amount of personal loans based on the CIBIL
score and past records of the customers .

Our Company offers personal loans to customer segments that do not have
easy access to banks and similar institutions for speedy short or medium
finance. We provide personal loans to its existing and old customers, as well
as customers of other Shriram Group entities.

3. Company also provide loans to small medium enterprises to run their


business better and

And to meet any future contingencies of the business and which the
helps the enterprises to expand their businesses.

Our Company started offering customized loans to the Small Enterprise


segment in 2006, and since then, has continually focused on widening its
customer base for this product. The small enterprises segment comprises of
self-employed professionals, wholesale and retail dealers, merchants,
builders, small and medium scale manufacturing concerns, catering services,
tour operators, etc. Loans are customized to suit the requirements of the
customers after having assessed and understood their business model.

We believe that the small enterprises finance segment is still largely under
banked, and most of the lending in this sector has traditionally been
addressed by the unorganized players in various regions in India. We also
expect the small enterprise segment which contributes 17% of India’s GDP to
grow significantly in the coming years.

 Loan amount to be utilized for business purposes
 Annual Income requirement will be based on the loan amount

 Repayment through Equated Monthly Installments
 Declaration of existing loan commitments.

 Should be employed for a minimum period of 1 year. In case of self employment - 2years
 Should be in the same residence for a minimum period of 1 year
 Minimum Tenor - 12 Months Maximum Tenor 36 months - Scheme based

So, during this summer internship program I will as a trainee under these departments of shriram
city union finance limited , Muzaffarnagar. The company guide assigned to me is Mr. Harveek
Singh who is currently the Branch Manager of the Two Wheeler , Personal and Business loans and
my faculty guide is Prof. Neeta Mathur . Under the guidance of Mr. Harveek Singh , I am doing a
project of How to finance loans to the customers as per their needs.

Currently the process of providing two wheeler loans is that firstly the
customers have to submit the requied documents to the executive which is
available on the showrooms . The documents are as under

 4 Passport size photographs


 Pan card
 Aadhar card
 5 cheque
 KYC or Bank statement of past six months.

After the whole documents verified by the executives on the showroom and the processing is
done then file will be sent to immediate boss Mr. Harveek Singh who verify the files and then
files sent to the credit department after credit department approve the files then the loan
amount will be transferred `to the transferee account. Generally this process will take around 1-2
days after the file sent to the credit department.

Right now I am in two wheeler department and soon will be moving to personal loan
department .The process of personal loan department is quite similar as compared to two
wheeler loans the company provide loans upto 90% of the vehicle market value in the form of
cash when the customers collected their non objection certificates and they have no defaults or
dues of the company.

So during this internship I will be working with the organization and learn the company policies
work experience the corporate culture and follow their guidelines and analyze the various factor
that involved while providing loans to customers and what are the challenges that are faced by
the company and how they provide best loan schemes to attract , retain and expand their
customers and how they implement 5C’s of credit in their business.
