I. OBJECTIVES:
A. Content Standards: The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American Literature and
other text types serve as means of preserving unchanging values in a changing world, also how to use the features
of a full-length play, tense consistency, modals, active and passive constructions plus direct and indirect speech to
enable him/her competently performs in a full-length play.
B. Performance Standards: The learner competently performs in a full-length play through applying
effective verbal and non-verbal strategies and ICT resources based on the following criteria: Focus, Voice, Delivery
and Dramatic Conventions.
C. Learning Competencies/Objectives: Get the different sides of social, moral, and economic issues
affecting the nation (EN9LC-IVb-13.1)

Daily Routine:

 Checking of the attendance and classroom’s cleanliness.

Students will identify the voices.
1. They sweep the park every morning. (Active)

B. Establish purpose of the lesson

1. Analyze the movies/TV programs they watched through naming the values reflected on them.
2. Appreciate the importance of family to the nation by sharing it to a partner.
3. Create a short paragraph on how they make their home happy, peaceful, and meaningful.
C. Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson

D. Discussing new concepts and practice new skill

Let the students share if they have you watched movies or TV programs which give much importance to the
family. Let them name some of these and the values reflected on them.
