When we talk about things that are generally or always true, we can use:
If/When/Unless plus a present form + present simple or imperative
When you fly budget airline, you have to pay for your drinks and snacks.
In the condition clause, we can use a variety of present forms. In the result clause, there can
only be the present simple or imperative.
Unless he asks you politely, refuse to do any more work on the project.

ZERO & FIRST CONDITIONALS
1. ZERO CONDITIONAL
We use the zero conditional for general truths or natural laws.
e.g. If you don’t water plants regularly, they die.
e.g. If you heat ice, it turns into water.
2. FIRST CONDITIONAL
We use the first conditional to express something that will probably happen in the future.
e.g. If Paul gets the job, he will move to London.
