K: Yes DJ Chris, I was out partying because the Divorce Bill, after years its now
approved as a republic act. This means we, women, dont have to worry and
overthink with finding the right guy hahaha. But seriously, its craaaaaaazy.
Oh yes, I have heard, this is one of the many crazy events this year. 2020 is so
underrated; And its only the second month of the year!
K: OMG, this is so timely because its the month of love and that is exactly whats
uuuup! Our beloved RM listeners took on a poll last week and no wonder amongst
the topics we laid out for them RML’s, they chose HEARTBREAKS.

C: Papa Mark! How are you today?

M: Yes, Hello RML’S! It’s you and me, and me and you AGAIN on RM 50.4 and as
always It’s me PAPA MARK! I’m Very great DJ Chrisy, thanks for asking. Before you
both get along with calling our listeners and resolving my letter senders; Let’s have
“My Life with DJ MArk.”

Dear Papa Mark,

I had the love of my life. We met in an unexpected time and place, and i can say that
our love story is quite unique. It was Christmas season back then, the cold breeze
touching my face. Walking alone along madarang street at midnight, i suddenly felt
something sharp pointing onto my hips. The guy whispered "give me your money or
else you'll die". It didn't frighten me to be honest, i didn’t know why. The way he said
those words was a cry of help to my ears, so velvet it wraps me. I can sense his
hotness the way he speaks. "you know it is bad to get things that are not yours" i
said. We just stood there, and I suddenly began to said scriptures to him saying that
stealing is bad. I think i convinced him tho, because he let me go, i faced him and
said thank you. It was so funny to think that after he tried to steal from me, he
managed to send me home safe. "can i see you tomorrow?" he said. I just nod in
response. "promise you will not hold me up?" i said laughing. He laughed and said
he won't. And it became our routine: meeting at Madarang Street, then
accompanying me to my home.
Papa Marl, We were like that for a month, and i can say that i know him well.
Stammered he asked "can i court you?" well, i said yes. Why not? I thought to
myself, grab the opportunity! Hahaha Just kidding. He courted me for 6 months, and
after 3 years, we got married. It was so perfect, i always feel like im on cloud 9. One
night his phone rang and he seemed so fidgety. I asked him what's going on, he
didn't respond but he said an important matter came up. He left the house. One
week have passed and there was still no sign of him, he just texted me that he was
sorry for being absent. I turned on the TV and i was shocked because the head line
was a robbery happening in a bank. Papa mark,I knew at the back of my mind that
he was there at the scene but i just comforted myself not knowing for sure. Another
week has passed and there was still no sign of him. One night, a gentle caressing on
my cheek awoke me, it was him. He told me that he was not involved in any crimes,
it was just his former group. I believed him, of course. I can tell whether he is lying or
not, but he is not. The robbery happened in the city died fast because the amount of
money the robbers got is small. Years have passed and we were living peacefully,
but we still don't have a baby yet. We were watching our favorite series when a loud
knock made us jump from the couch. He told me to get back and he reached the
door. Slowly he opened it. The incident happened so fast Papa mark. Bang! In a
blink of an eye, i saw the man i love lying, bathing in his own blood dripping from his
head. His eyes were open wide, like he was surprised, and so am I. I spent my whole
life mourning. I lived my life in grief. Its been 49 years since he died, since that
bastard killed him. I didn't love again after he died,I couldn’t. I don't want anybody
else, i just wanted him for me. Just him. They say that as time goes by, i will accept
the fact that he is not with me anymore. I know that time will come, but i don't want to
live on that time, i want to live in "our" time.
So you see papa Mark, Im old and alone. But the thought of having the chance to be
with him , my true love, my destiny, it was fulfilling. I couldn’t be mad for everything, I
was just glad it ever happened in my life. Not everyone gets to be with the one they
love papa Mark, Im just short of luck that it ended so soon, before he even knew he
was gonna be a father. Thank you so much papa Mark, I guess I have pushed it to
my luck to be heard and share my story, you have made it happen.Sincerely,

PM: Another heartfelt story here at “ My life with DJ Mark”. I am legit lost of words,
Erica wherever you are, you are one brave woman. You may have lost him, but a
part of him is always with you, with your child. It was indeed sorrowful, filled with
injustice but, there is more to life as you have shown us. So stay tuned and I give
the microphone for DJ Chrisdy and DJ YangYG’s question “Why is the love of your
life not with you?”
C: I was crying, literally DJ Mark.
Y: Thank you so much Erica, that was very brave of you. Speaking of which DJ
Chrisdy, we have our first caller.
C: It is a caller from Beverly Hills, Mrs. Ilyn.
Y: We already have her on the line, “Hello Ms. Ilyn?”

I: Hello, DJ Chrisdy and DJ YangYG. I have been listening to your station all of your
life, if you had known.

Y: Another loyal listener, its Mother Ilyn.

I: Although, I never called, I only loved listening to other peoples joyous occasions.
But I had to call when I heard that this lady has gone through a similar path I have.
C: Okay mother, let’s have some background.

I: I met him in a young age. We both grew up in the same neighborhood. We became
best of friends since that day. As we grew older my feelings for him start to
developed which I never imagined to happen. During our high school years he told
me one night while we are on our way home that he loved me and he want to court
me and even though I was shocked and overwhelmed , I said yes. I saw how happy
he is and from that day on we started to go out. After 4 months I said yes and we
became the happiest person on earth. Our relationship was filled with joy not until we
enter college He wanted to be a soldier and I wanted to be a nurse. Despite of being
separated with each other we chose to pursue our dreams. We tried to stay strong
until finally we graduated and he proposed to me during my graduation with our
parents witnessing us. I said yes and again our hearts were filled with joy. 6months
had past and one day a lot of soldiers were rushed to our hospital while I'm trying to
revive one patient I recognize the ring on his finger It was him the love of my life with
unrecognized face due to bomb explosion.
I was shocked, unable to move and shaking. I can't accept the fact that my soon to
be husband is now on his last breath I can't do anything but to cry as the monitor
went straight my heart is breaking as if it will be apart. And now as I remember that
scenario I still have regrets. If I only had a chance to stop him that day maybe right
now we have our own happy family but that will never happen. Right now I'm trying to
heal all the wounds but our love will remain.
Chrisdy: To answer our question is, you are not with the one you love because you
found the love of your life, and he was not meant to stay.
I: Yes DJ Chrisdy, but it was not a bad memory. My memories are already passing
by me, all of these memories will. But he will remain in my heart, he is my only
hapiness for he made me complete.
