Introduction:
From 3rd February to 12th February we have done our CSR activity which is a part of our academic
curriculum of Universal Business School. Our college collaborated with a trust namely Light of life trust
(LOLT), Karjat to accomplish this activity which was a learning experience for us.
Objectives of the Social Project:
The main objective of this project for our college was to educate students about Corporate Social
Responsibility. Our main objectives during this project was
 Upholding people’s interests and rights
 Working with individuals, groups and communities in the pursuit and achievement of equitable
access to social, economic and political resources
 Providing assistance to improve the well-being of clients. (Clients are individuals, families, groups,
communities, organisations and societies, especially those who are neglected, vulnerable,
disadvantaged or have exceptional needs)
 Promoting policies and practices that achieve a fair allocation of social resources
 Acting to bring about social change to reduce social barriers, inequality and injustice.
To bring out the best out of this activity 120 students of 1 st year MBA program was divided into 4 groups of
30 students each serving different fields of activities. The groups were:

These 4 groups were further divided into teams of unequal number of people. I was a part of the group
livelihood which was the most enthusiastic group. We were assigned several works such as:
Selling the products made by the women of LOLT such as jewelleries, blouses, dresses etc.
