    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Position: Senior PL/SQL developer


    Location: Mumbai / Bangalore, India

    Position Summary:

    We’re looking for an experienced PL/SQL DBA developer to join our Oracle
    development team. The solutions you’ll contribute to range from analytics systems
    (built on top of Oracle OBIEE) to high scale transaction processing systems, batch
    processing systems and databases that support our industry leading tracking
    solutions.

    As a part of the team, you’ll design and develop schemas, PL/SQL functions,
    triggers, views and packages, all within our multi-tenant data architecture. You’ll
    also design and build solutions to test, monitor and tune our systems to enable
    peak performance. We’re a very collaborative team, so communication skills are
    key. We constantly share ideas and we’re looking for team members who share our
    passion for technology.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

     Use your Oracle 10G/11G Experience expertise to design schemas,


    packages and procedures in support of our data pipeline; Tools like TOAD,
    SQL Developer, as well as data modeling techniques, should be second
    nature.
     Collaborate with UI architects, data architects and business owners to
    design, develop reuired procedures which are best-in-class
     Use various methods such as, AWR, ASH, SQL_MONITOR, EM12c, to tune
    and scale our batch and real time processing solutions to help us identify
    and resolve performance problems. We also encourage the use of new
    techniques and in-house solutions to help locate bottlenecks and squeeze
    out better performance
     Design multi-tenant, configurable data solutions that allow us to support
    multiple clients in a homogenous environment, at scale.
     Work comfortably in a fast-paced, project oriented environment where
    collaboration across multiple roles and departments is necessary to get
    the job done.
     Develop customer-driven solutions and will be responsible for delivery of
    defined set of modules.
     Should be interested in doing research and development and capability to
    suggest solutions.
     Experience with Oracle Relational Database 10G and 11G
     Strong PL/SQL skills( stored procedures, functions, index, triggres,
    performance tuning etc)
     Ability to write efficient, complex queries against very large data sets(100-
    200 GB-table)
     should aware about database designing concepts.

     Should have worked in real-time environment (20 K concurrent
    transactions).
     Should be able to analyze problems and develop solutions
     Should maintain documentation for all the developed code
     Should have experience of performance tuning and ability to use various
    tuning tools.
     Should aware about all the database developer features
     Experience on Triggers, Procedures, Scheduled Jobs, MV’s, table
    partitioning is a must
     Strong knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices
     Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into
    technical requirements
     Motivated self-starter with a high attention to detail
     Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
     Experience in agile and SCRUM methodologies.

    Qualifications:
    1* BE / B Tech / M Tech/ MCA /MSc in Computer Science or Engineering.
