    Case 1 - Load Capacity of the slab

    Total Load of the Equipment 6500 Kg = 6.5 MT


    Plan Area of Operations
    Case 1 = 3.944 X 6.195
    Area = 24.43308 Sqm.

    Case 2 = 5.207 X 5.209


    Area = 27.123263 Sqm.

    Minimum Area of operations = 24.43308 Sqm.

    Live Load Capacity of the slab for above area = 9962.5198777 kgf
    = 9.9625198777 MT >> 6.5MT SAFE

    Case 2 - Check for point load

    Max. point load on the slab at one support = 41.44 kN


    = 41440 N

    Area of contact for plate = 1X 0.5


    = 500,000 Sq.mm

    Thickness of the Floor Slab = 250 mm

    Effective Punching / Shear stress at section = 0.0518 N/mm2

    Permissible stress = .24 * sqrt(Fck)
