In this unit, you will learn how to

Inviting, accepting and declining an invitation, expressing agreement and disagreement,
complimenting and congratulating.

PRESENTATION

Activity 1

People have many things to do in their leisure time. Some people visit recreational places, while
others prefer doing interesting activities. What about you?

- How do you spend your semester holiday?


- How about visiting temples or museums?
- How about or doing some outdoor activities?
- How about staying at home doing some leisure activities?

Those are some activities that you might like doing in your holiday. Talk about them with your teacher.

If we copy and print it out, we can read it easily.

It’s good to share our happiness on our birthday, for example, with others. We can

We’re going to have a class project. Each of you will work individually to write an ad.
 Choose a tourist resort that you want to promote
 Have some pictures attached in the ad to make it more interesting.
 Display all your work on the class wall.

1. You don’t want anybody to feed your pets (fish, kittens, cats, etc)
2. You want to stay in your room thew whole day. You don’t want anybody to disturb you.
3. You have just painted your room. It is still wet.

In many situations, we have to congratulate and give compliments.

Make up a dialog about giving compliment by following the guideline.
