Materials Selection Processes
Our product is a multi-purpose wardrobe. Its main purpose is to use it for different work & also
save extra space in house. It has multiple features such as folding chair, folding table, drawer,
laptop holder which is very helpful for several people. As a result, selecting the suitable material
for its body and other parts is a very important step. We focused on some properties which are
Hardness, Mass density, Yield strength and Young’s modulus. We have to ensure these criteria
so that our product can serve its purpose. We ensure all these demands by qualitative and
quantitative analysis. Both qualitative and quantitative analysis are vitally important to public
relations. We use both method for selecting materials. Material that possess the required
properties are considered for evaluation. Finally, among all the materials the one with highest
performance value is selected.

Results:
From the above calculation, we can see that the highest performance value is Partex (WPC) for
main body, folding table, laptop holder and drawer. So that we choose it.
