Software Development Plan

1. Introduction

1.1 History of Organization

Lecturer assignment trusts (ATPs) are introduced to reflect the actual working hours.
With the implementation of ATP, lecturers will no longer have to apply for ATA reduction.
ATP was approved for use by JKE on November 8, 2011 and is effective January 1,
2012. ATP Distribution is the basis for preparation of CSR, performance evaluation, and
criteria promotion.

Generally ATP calculation guidelines have been issued by TNC Office (A&A)) through
Circular on Implementation of ATP 10/2011. While these guidelines are issued to detail
the calculation of each component of KJS (Section 4.2) to facilitate the branch determine
/ calculate the ATP of the lecturer.

The timeframe for ATS is based on an hourly equivalent of 1 hour equivalent to 1.5
hours of equality to take into account the college preparation process and assessments
at all levels of study (Ph.D., Master's, Professional, Bachelor, Diploma & Pre-Diploma)

1.2 Organizational Chart

Prof. Madya Dr Shaiful Annuar Khalid is rector in UiTM Kedah. Nor Hafiza Ayob is
Secretary in UiTM Kedah. Siti Rafidah Muhamat Dawam is a Head of Faculty in
Computer Science and Mathematics Faculty. Shaifizat Mansor is a Unit Coordinator in
Computer Science and Mathematics Faculty.

ATS includes Lecture Content (KS) and Lecture Preparation and Evaluation (PS). The
lecturer's contract hours are set at 39 hours a week.

ATS = KS + PS

PS is the equivalent of lecture hours given to lecturers to take into account the
preparation and evaluation process that needs to be done by lecturers for lectures /
tutorials / labs / studios / kitchens / clinics / e-teaching as well as taking into account the
number of student groups big. Lecture contexts (KS) are the real hours of a lecturer's
lecture (standing teaching) and it includes lectures / tutorials / labs / studios / kitchen /
clinical / e-tutor

2.2 Proposed System Objectives

 To make it easier for the lecturers because there is no error in calculation.

 To eliminates the duplication of the work required to maintain multiply databases.

 To automatically maintain fast access files for each of the database in order to
maximize retrieval speed.

2.3 Proposed System Scope

The system will be used in UiTM Kedah. This system can be used by the lecturers. This
system can only be use in UiTM Kedah only. It is not accessible by others UiTM. The
lecturer will enter the information. This system will automatically calculate the ATS for
the lecturer.

2.4 Proposed System Entity and Attributes

Our ERD contains 3 tables which is COURSE, LECTURER and ATS. Table COURSE
contains COURSE_CODE and TOT_STUD. Table LECTURER contains LECT_CODE,
LECT_NAME, EMAIL and NUM_PHONE. Table ATS contains ATS_ID, TUTO_HOURS,
LAB_HOURS, LECT_HOURS, BLENDED, LECT_CODE and COURSE CODE

4. Management Process

4.1 Project Plan

This project is started with discussion with lecturer on 3 March 2020.We started to
proceed with SDP from 11 March 2020 until 19 March 2020. Planning is the first phases
of writing SDP. We started with interview on 10 March 2020. Nurul is in charge in doing
more research about the ATS system of UITM Kedah and establish sequence of
activities. Second phases are the analysis. We analyze the current system problem and
produced several solutions of the problem. We determined the entities and attribute of
the system. Hasyimah is in charge in design a complete ERD diagram and BPMN.
