    A simplified quarter model of a bus suspension system could be represented through Figure
    Q1 below. The force, F is acting from the road (assuming the tyre hits a bump). Determine the

    The following system response is obtained from a servomechanism upon subjected to a unit-
    step response. Determine:

    c(t ) = 1 + 0.2e−60t −1.2e−10t

    a) The expression for the closed-loop transfer function (8 Marks)


    b) Determine the undamped natural frequency and the damping ratio of the system (4 Marks)
    c) From your observation of the damping ratio, what type of response does the system exhibit?
    (1 Marks)
    d) Does the system exhibit any overshoot behavior? Justify your answer. (1 Marks)
    e) Sketch the location of the poles of the system in the s-plane (1 Marks)
