Introduction
This guide contains information you will need when conducting the flight instructor courses in accordance
with the Flight Instructor Syllabus. The first section contains a brief description of components used in the
courses. The next section discusses the philosophy of teaching the flight instructor applicant. Another section
is devoted to the pilot briefing questions for flight instructor applicants; included are answers to those ques-
tions, where appropriate. The final section contains answer keys for grading the stage and end-of-course
exams.
