Users of Turntable have ultimate responsibility for ensuring that anyone who works with or near the equipment observes all
the relevant safety precautions.

The following recommendations should be observed in addition to the standard regulations that apply to the work place.

All work must be carried out by trained personnel who are familiar with the operation of the Turntable. Incorrect operation of
the equipment may lead to a hazardous situation which can result in injury to the operator and damage to the equipment.

Staying under the work piece during the working cycle is absolutely forbidden! Staying on top of the workpiece during the
working cycle is forbidden without the safety equipment!

1. Anyone who uses the Turntable must be familiar with

• its operation
• the location of the emergency stop
• its function
• relevant safety precautions

To make this easier each switch, pushbutton or potentiometer is marked with a symbol that indicates its function when
activated.

2. The operator must ensure that

• no unauthorized person is stationed within the working area of the machine when it is started up
• no-one is unprotected when the arc is struck

3. The work place must

• be suitable for the purpose
• be free from loose objects
• be clean, because dust and welding flux can make the frictional force of the roller

4. Personal safety equipment

• always wear recommended personal safety equipment, such as safety glasses, flame-proof clothing, safety gloves
• do not wear loose-fitting items, such as scarves, bracelets, rings etc., which could become trapped or cause burns

5. General precautions
• make sure the welding return cable is connected securely to the workpiece.
• work on high voltage equipment may only be carried out by a qualified electrician
• appropriate fire extinguishing equipment must be clearly marked and close at hand
• lubrication and maintenance must not be carried out on the equipment during its operation; follow the lubrication
instructions
• check the tightness of the hydraulics, repair all possible leaks immediately. In other problem cases please contact
to the producer or his representative
• these products should not be lubricated or serviced during operation.

2. INTRODUCTION

2.1 General
The LLT series turntable offers easy solution in angular indexing of Lightweight workpieces on a horizontal plane. The LLT
Turntable has no spindle and uses slewing ring bearings for its rotation motion. The slewing ring and the machined base
provide uniform support of the load, which eliminate the problem of spindle and table deflection. The driving gear engages the
slewing bearing on the outer race and is machined to provide good gear matching, ensuring a smooth rotation of the tabletop.
The tables top are machined flat with table bolt slots that permit easy fixturing of workpieces for welding process.

With the usage of slewing ring bearing, the height profile of the tabletop is maintained low. The drive motor assembly requires
minimum maintenance and ensures minimum backlash. All LLT series turntable come with adjustable speed drives.

All models meet or exceed the EN occupational safety requirements.
