Troubleshooting
The tips in this guide are listed in order of relevance. Try solution (a) before trying solution (b), etc.
During setup I have created my account but I cannot continue or I did not receive the Email verification Email.
a) You must confirm your Email address before you can continue with the setup process. Check that your
mobile device has an active Internet connection.
b) Check that the Email address used for your account is correct.
c) Click Resend Email to have the email resent to the email address used for your account. The Email will
have a subject: Welcome to APOLLO
d) Check your SPAM folder if you still have not received the Email.
e) Confirm your Email address but clicking the Confirm Email button in the email from APOLLO.
I don’t see the Wi-Fi network broadcasted by the camera required for setup.
a) Press the Setup button on the back of the camera and hold it for 3-5 seconds until the front power light
begins to blink.
37
b) Once the power light begins blinking, the camera will begin to broadcast a Wi-Fi network with the name
“APOLLO_XXXX” at this point you will have several minutes to log onto the camera’s Wi-Fi network to
complete your setup. You will need to go to your mobile device’s Wi-Fi settings, connect to the Wi-Fi
network “APOLLO_XXXX” then return to the APOLLO app and continue the setup process.
c) If you still do not see the camera’s setup Wi-Fi network, reset the camera to default settings and try
again. To reset the camera, check that the camera is powered on, use a paper clip and press and hold
the Reset button on the back of the camera for 10 seconds. The power light should begin to blink and
the camera will reboot. Once the light becomes solid, go through the setup process on the APOLLO app
again.
The APOLLO app cannot connect to the camera during setup. I get an error that says the “Setup Wizard cannot
communicate with your Camera.”
a) You may not have connected your mobile device to the camera’s Wi-Fi network. Your mobile device
must be connected to the camera’s Wi-Fi network to communicate with it during the setup process.
b) Press the Setup button on the back of the camera and hold it for 3-5 seconds until the front power light
begins to blink.
c) Once the power light begins blinking, the camera will begin to broadcast a Wi-Fi network with the name
“APOLLO_XXXX” at this point you will have several minutes to log onto the camera’s Wi-Fi network to
complete your setup. You will need to go to your mobile device’s Wi-Fi settings, connect to the Wi-Fi
38
network “APOLLO_XXXX” then return to the APOLLO app and continue the setup process. If successful
you should see a list of Wi-Fi networks on the APOLLO app screen that you can connect the camera to
and complete your setup.
d) If you still do not see the camera’s setup Wi-Fi network, reset the camera to default settings and try
again. To reset the camera, check that the camera is powered on, use a paper clip and press and hold
the Reset button on the back of the camera for 10 seconds. The power light should begin to blink and
the camera will reboot. Once the light becomes solid, go through the setup process on the APOLLO app
again.
a) Check that you are entering the Wi-Fi password correctly and try again.
b) Your camera may be too far from your router and the Wi-Fi signal may be too weak. We recommend
a network that has a 50% or greater signal strength and is green or yellow. If the signal is red or you do
not see your network, you need to move the camera closer to your Wi-Fi router.
39
I want to assign a Static IP for my camera.
a) During the setup process you will be prompted to enter a password for the Wi-Fi network you selected
to connect the camera to. On this page there will be an link for “Advanced Options” Tap that link to
enter a Static IP for your camera.
I want to connect my camera to a hidden Wi-Fi network or a network with a non-broadcasted SSID.
a) During the setup process you will be prompted to select your Wi-Fi network to connect the camera to.
On the bottom of this page there is a “Add Hidden Network” link. Tap this link to connect to a hidden
Wi-Fi network or a Wi-Fi network that is not broadcasting it’s SSID.
I cannot get to the last step of setup, the Setup Successful page.
a) After you enter the Wi-Fi password for the network you wish to connect your camera to, the camera
will drop its setup Wi-Fi network and connect to your desired network. At this time, your mobile device
will switch to another known Wi-Fi network that it has previously connected to. Please make sure that
this network has an active Internet connection. If your mobile device does not have an active Internet
connection it will not be able to reach the Setup Successful page.
40
b) Alternatively, after you enter the Wi-Fi password and tap continue, you can switch your mobile device
to LTE or 4G Internet only to complete the setup. This will prevent it from connecting to another Wi-Fi
network. After setup is complete you can turn Wi-Fi back on.
After my camera has been setup, how do I change the Wi-Fi network its connected to?
a) Open the APOLLO app and login to access the home screen. Tap on the settings icon for your camera.
b) Tap on Wi-Fi networks to scan and select for a new Wi-Fi network. In order for the camera to scan for
new Wi-Fi networks it must first already be connected to an active Wi-Fi network. If your camera does
not have a connection follow the steps below.

by first removing the camera from your account. To do this open the APOLLO app and login to access
the home screen. Tap on the trash can icon to remove the camera.
d) Once the camera is removed, tap on the + icon on the top right corner of the home screen to setup a
new camera. Run through the setup wizard to connect the camera to a new Wi-Fi network.

the camera to your new account. Note: you will not be able to transfer any Cloud Recording Plans
from one account to another.
I see a grey screen when the camera preview shows that its online or the camera video seems choppy or
sluggish.
a) Check that your mobile device has a good Internet connection. If you are using a 3G or slower data
connection you may want to switch to a Wi-Fi connection when available or LTE/4G.
b) Check the speed of your Internet service provider. The camera requires moderate Internet speeds to
operate normally.
c) Your Wi-Fi signal may be weak or your Internet speed is slow. Try to connect the camera to a
stronger Wi-Fi signal or change the channel of your Wi-Fi network to a channel with less interference.
You can do this from your router’s control panel. To find out which channel will provide a better Wi-Fi

Dispute Resolution / Arbitration
This section describes how you agree to resolve any disputes with Amped Wireless regarding these Terms of
Use or your purchase of any product from Amped Wireless and your use of that product. You and Amped
Wireless agree to the following resolution process.
To begin with, you agree that any claim that you might have against us regarding these Terms of Use or your
purchase of any Amped Wireless product or use of that product must be resolved through binding arbitration
before the American Arbitration Association using its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator shall have
exclusive authority to the extent permitted by law to resolve all disputes arising out of or relating to the
interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of our agreement, including, but not limited to, any
claim that all or part of this agreement is void or voidable. The arbitrator shall also have exclusive authority to
the extent permitted by law to decide the arbitrability of any claim or dispute between you and Amped
Wireless.
Because we prefer to resolve our issues with you directly, you agree to arbitrate with Amped Wireless only in
your individual capacity, not as a representative or member of a class. As such, your claims may not be joined
with any other claims and there shall be no authority for any dispute to be arbitrated on a class-action basis or
brought by a purported class representative.
62
It is important that you understand that the arbitrator’s decision will be binding and may be entered as a
judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. If the arbitrator rules against Amped Wireless, in addition to
accepting whatever responsibility is ordered by the arbitrator, we will reimburse your reasonable attorneys'
fees and costs.
It's important to us that we address any issues you might have promptly. To help us do that, you agree to
begin any arbitration within one year after your claim arose; otherwise, your claim is waived.
Unless you and Amped Wireless agree otherwise, any arbitration hearings will take place in the county where
you reside. If your claim is for $10,000 or less, you may choose whether the arbitration will be conducted
solely on the basis of documents submitted to the arbitrator, through a telephonic hearing, or by an in-person
hearing as established by the AAA Rules. If your claim exceeds $10,000, the right to a hearing will be
determined by the AAA Rules.
If your claim against Amped Wireless is for less than $10,000, Amped Wireless will pay all arbitration fees. If
your claim against Amped Wireless is for $10,000 or more, you are responsible for paying your own portion of
the fees set forth in the AAA’s fee schedule for consumer disputes, and Amped Wireless will pay all remaining
arbitration fees. If you believe you cannot afford the AAA’s fee, you may apply to the AAA for a waiver.
63
As an exception to this arbitration agreement, Amped Wireless is happy to give you the right to pursue in small
claims court any claim that is within that court's jurisdiction as long as you proceed only on an individual basis.
We would hope that our customer service agents could resolve any disputes you have with us without
resorting to arbitration. Before initiating any arbitration proceeding, you agree to first discuss the matter
informally with Amped Wireless for at least 30 days. To do that, please send your full name and contact
information, your concern and your proposed solution by mail to us at: 13089 Peyton Dr. #C307, Chino Hills,
CA 91709; Attn: Legal Department.
This Agreement and the rights of the parties hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of the State of California, exclusive of conflict or choice of law rules.
The parties acknowledge that this Agreement evidences a transaction involving interstate commerce.
Notwithstanding the provision in the preceding paragraph with respect to applicable substantive law, any
arbitration conducted pursuant to the terms of this Agreement shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act
(9 U.S.C., Secs. 1-16).
